So I had quite the adventure last night. XD The power went out last night...while I was in the shower. And the bathroom is in the middle of the house so there are no windows in there. I had no light whatsoever. I didn't know what to do so I just decided to go ahead and finish my shower. XD But I had to do it in pitch black. Luckily I've done it enough to know where everything is but man I wanted to get out of there as fast as I could. It made me appreciate sight that's for sure. It must be hard to be blind. In fact, for a moment I thought maybe I mighta gone blind so I turned off the water and went out in the hall and was relieved to see that it wasn't my eyes. I could still see. There was light outside the house that I could see from the city far out over the huge empty fields behind our house. But I didn't know what to do, so I just stood there for a moment completely naked, dripping wet, getting water all over the carpet (as well as the bathroom floor for when I was in there) and eventually decided to just go ahead and get back in the shower and finish. I hadn't even used the soap yet so pretty much the whole shower was like this. While I was in the hall I thought about waking up my parents and asking them for help so that I could get a flashlight or something, but first of all, I was naked and wet and I wasn't clean so I didn't wanna dirty up my towel just to dry off and I didn't wanna put clothes on because I was wet, second of all my parents are really sick, they got the flu after I had it the past few weeks. Plus I'm sure they were under pretty hard from the meds they'd taken so I was pretty stuck. What could I do but just go about my business as best I could?
