So i'm done with a very stressful semester and I'm just going to outline this for anyone else considering Cyber Security as a major, IT, or also just in college like myself:

1. If you are working towards your A+, Net+, Security+, CySa+; use ANY and ALL available resources. As much as you might not like it, use TestOut. It sucks but it does use practicality, because the Security+ certification is absolutely MASSIVE in size for what it covers. And it is mainly business oriented, but the tests will assess your practical knowledge, not like "What is RSA" but more like "Which of the following BEST describes the use of RSA vs AES encryption" and it will be deliberately confusing. I've got friends that have tried to take these multiple times, I've passed first try but prepare to give up alot of your life to do so.

2. If you take anything related to Cisco CCNA/ICND1/ICND2 (this is going to change in february 2020 by compiling both ICND1 and 2 into one curriculum to get rid of CCENT certification), the NetAcad (through Cisco) labs, are intense. There is a new platform called NetLab that may be in use through your school, and this platform is ...good, bad, and slow; and you get alloted 50 minutes for everything. It's setup using virtualization and it wipes out everything. YOU CAN CHANGE THE TIME. No one told me this, I had to find it out on my own.

3. Make sure you find your instructor to be apt in their job, if not do not hesitate to call them on their shit, make sure they're able to be contacted, if not go above their head. I'm in the middle of some shit because an instructor has been ...to say the least berating even though I got everything done.

4. If you take anything Math related and it has to be taken through Pearson MyMathLab, MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE YOU MEMORIZE THE STRUCTURE OF THE QUESTIONS ON YOUR HOMEWORKS AND DO THEM AS MANY TIMES AS YOU CAN UNTIL YOU GET IT RIGHT.
This system is god damned annoying and I got screwed on my Midterm exam that stressed me out, HOWEVER I did the "practice" tests alot and learned them mnemonically as to how the questions were structured; and I passed my final. What you see will be on the test just different parts pulled up for what it wants. I cannot stress this enough. Learn it, and if you can remember how its structured, you'll pass.

That aside, I'm free, for now; this semester has been stressful that I had to put my life beyond school on hold, I was also working. So to my old commissioners, to everyone that I owe commissions I'm working on them again because I can now. I look at art as a release rather than a stress. Once I finish this batch from stuff back in like May, I'll open up again maybe cause I've gotten inquiries about new commissions. I can't in good conscience do new commissions when I have a backlog. The next semester will be (maybe) significantly easier but I cant be sure since my college is switching to 8-week courses starting in the Spring 2020 semester. But we'll see.

Thanks

Though this is a year old, this is quite informative. Especially since I'm working towards some certifications myself. You're quite the monster for being able to take all this on, which I find quite awesome, since it shows how dedicated you were to going far. You've helped me understand that working hard and studying hard really does matter, and I thank you for that.
