Just as the seasons continuously change and the cycle between day and night endlessly repeats, I experience the constant stream of time as well, though in my own personal way. Every year, I celebrate becoming another year older. While the current pandemic has certainly made life a disappointment for many, I have been able to find time to take pleasure in each day and today is no different, though perhaps more eventful. It will be celebrated with my parents, just as I have the year before. I will admit my birthday celebrations have grown smaller in their extravagance, and maybe even significance, but I still honor and cherish them all the same. Therefore, I am happy to acknowledge another year in my life and pleased to have friends to share in this joyous occasion.
