I just thought I would give an update, and I guess I should start with a apology. Totally didn't mean to drop off the face have the website but I've had a lot of stuff happen. Depression can be really powerful in ruling your life and after a while is either going to break you or wake you up. And my special case it took me six months to snap out of it.
I don't want to go into a great many details but there was a death in the family that acted as a domino effect for my life. I ended up living in a large house by myself that was deeply unsettling and I lost my job, injured my knee that needed a month-and-a-half to heal and found out I had squatters who were peeping in my windows. Plus there is all kinds of issues with the farmhouse that I am living in and most recent is surviving the Great ice snow storm in South Texas. It was pretty rough and I don't mean rough as in the weather because I'm originally from Ohio so I'm used to that kind of thing. But I mean rough as in the region not being prepared for that kind of weather so I lost electricity and I was out for several days and I come back home and all of my pipes are busted. So it's been fun.
But on the bright side I've applied for low cost housing in the next city over where there's more job opportunities and public transportation along with I have relatives who can help me. The only thing is I have to try to find homes for all of the remaining animals that was left behind when my family member died. It seems like a simple task until you consider all of the animals are 10 years and over and that's including two outside cats that are like 11 or 12 years old. They can't really hunt anymore and they don't really like people so it's kind of hard to place them. But I'm still trying.
I've been incredibly blessed with several people helping me but I just needed time to get over the major depression that happened. So it looks like I'm back, I don't know how long or how active but I just wanted to say hi.
