People strongly dislike me

In my opinion, cancelling someone when it's proven that they are abusive and unapologetic, is the right thing to do. But I've also seen that rumours have made it very hard for me to live a mentally and socially healthy life.

I'm a reviled person in this pokemon furries community. Due to past harassers of mine who vilify me, spreading their stories about what I "did" to the people they know... There are many pokemon furries who avoid/report me on sight, though they have no direct interaction with me.

Yeah, apparently a lot of people are too stupid to understand the concept of "innocent until proven guilty", and why it's absolutely necessary for anything even vaguely resembling a civilized society. This "cancel culture" thing is especially fond of premature "canceling" of people.

I too agree that unapologetic abusers deserve to be "canceled", but it's vital to make sure they're actually abusers before you "cancel" them. Otherwise, literally anyone could become the victim of this at any time.

That sucks to be honest. No one should do anything to anyone without concrete proof. The whold thing on society is sad that the cancel trend is something they think everyone should be proud of when all it does is harrassing and all that jazz. You draw, write, create whatever you want and let no person stop you from it. But the high school rumor/ I don't like so and so spread rumors bullshit is sad. You deserve respect as anyone and like the other commenter said its innocent until guilty.
