The Journy thus far

by
Hello everyone, Nigazi here.

I just wanted take a moment to say thank you too everyone who has commissioned, watched me, or silently supported me over the years. I'm humble enough to realize i'm pretty lucky to have established the small fan base that I have given the quality and small gallery size that I have. I am truly thankful to each and every one of you. I have always had limited time to draw and/or upload things that I have made, but people have still managed to find my works and enjoy them all the same.

I am not one for many words as I have always felt the best way to show ones worth was through their actions. I know some of you have been trying to get commissions from me or simply waiting to see what new works i have to share and I would like to take a moment to address some of those concerns as best I can.

Where have I been and why are uploads so sparse?
I'm always around but as to what degree varies from week to week. I recently started attending college and am in my second semester. I had my expectations for how difficult secondary education could be don't truly couldn't grasp the full scope until I had to pick up a second job along side my schooling due to the economic pressures currently happening in America. That is a political argument I'm sure most people would be against my views on so ill' leave it at this. I'm not wealthy or established enough to have art as a full time thing, my work and schooling come first and foremost.

As to why why my gallery and uploads are far and few between ranging from months to weeks apart is simple actual. A few of my commissioners often request me draw human characters and these often take me twice as long to draw. I have decently sized portfolio but filter out what I upload to different sites to better maximize exposure. In other words i'm selective of what gets uploaded here and at what times i think most people are/will be online. Also within that is that i'm still really just getting into the digital media world and have lots to learn to further improve my works. that is in part why you may or may not notice quality differences between any two drawings.

I am always open to commissions and may even take on request occasionally but due to recent changes as stated above I am currently under time limitations and may not be able to work on any given piece for several days. I do however try my best to finish something that the commissioner and you all may be happy with. I f feel as though to much time has passed after the funding and details have been finalized I will often offer additions to the current work, or a secondary piece to the commissioner as an apology.

Well this journal has gotten long enough so I'll leave it at that. If you guys have any questions that I didn't address here please feel free to message me here or over on discord and ill do my best to answer you.

Thank you all again and for you time.

Yeah art can be a really hard thing to make a living in at times. I still feel like I have a lot to improve not only in the skills side of things, but what I have to say in my works, communication skills and business skills. Haven't really given myself the time to study due to having a lot of commissions on my hands on the moment, I think I need to figure out a balance on wanting to work on personal projects, work stuff and other things.
