It is truly a dark day for America with the overturning of the Roe v. Wade federal protection of abortion. With this ruling, millions of women, most of them poor, will now be faced with the brutal decision of having a back alley abortion that is unclean and unsafe. MAKE NO MISTAKE. OVERTURNING ROE V. WADE WILL NOT STOP ABORTIONS. IT WILL ONLY MAKE THEM MORE DANGEROUS. Women will still do what is best for their health and their bodies regardless of what their individual state says is legal or illegal. This decision will do nothing to protect the lives of children, and will do everything to endanger the lives of women. The Supreme Court is on the WRONG side of history with this judgment, and history will long remember this as a colossal MISTAKE by an evangelical-leaning, Trump-stuffed court.
I weep for our nation.
