So, I figured it would be appropriate to reach out there given the general audience this site has versus say FA.
I know I'm late to this news but I recently learned of the late JDF, Aka Tommy Oliver's passing. This news has hit me a bit sideways and as a kid I always looked up to Tommy and was a fan of power rangers. The redemption arc for the green ranger, the transformation into the white ranger and just the overall message of the "misunderstood" or "odd ball" of the group resonated with me in a very profound way.
The white ranger arc showed me as a kid that no matter how you are seen in the beginning, with pure intention and righteous conviction, even the bad guys can change for the better. Always fight for what is right and believe in it completely, even when everyone else is against you.
I have a tribute piece in my head that I'd like to try and get made and I need a better, more skilled artist than myself to do it. If any of you have any ideas or reccomendations, leave em below.
Godspeed Tommy, the mission of the white ranger isn't over, but you did a hell of a job to get us where we are. Rest easy, Ranger. We will take it from here.
