Left Twitter

I left twitter. Place is a dumpster fire of just hate - stupid - harassment and anger. I never had any issues with the site since I started back in 2008 till now. When dumbass took over I just got a flood of just nasty hate poorring into my PM's. I'm done. I don't need that crap in my life. I am happy without. I'll prob post where I went sometime down the road this month.

I jettisoned Twitter a week ago. It feels strange not doing without that and Facebook after having them all these years. Too many stupid fucking people spoiled it for me.

Twitter is an absolute hellhole. I've been in there for a couple of years and you practically have to get used to getting harrassed.

I heard from many others. I never ever had that issue till ding bat bought twitter and fired everyone and started allowing free hate speech just rain onto everyone.

I've always dealt with harassment over there years before musk bought Twitter, but I 100% agree that hate speech has skyrocketed since he bought it.

That's true. Use of the word "nigger" has catapulted 3 times the daily amount than before he took over.

It's disheartening for me to leave Facebook and Twitter after having them all these years. I earned thousands of followers, and I didn't have to bribe them to follow me, I earned them the hard way. For that I'm forever grateful. The downside is all my followers there now see an empty page where I used to be. I reluctantly set up a 2nd Facebook account after enduring the anguish of losing my first one. My 2nd account got hacked multiple times to the point I couldn't save that one, either. I wouldn't be surprised if the hackers are in cahoots with the motherfuckers who posted two hideous drawings of me on 4chan before I returned to Anthrocon. I've been dogged by drama for over two decades now, can I live?
