This isn't for right now. But I have a vague idea for a new character in mind. The only references at this stage are a pile of photos of the animal. But I wanted to start putting the feelers out for artists that are comfortable for character sheets of characters that do not have existing art to stay very close to. Not taking jabs at anyone specific; I just know it's not everyone's thing.
I don't mind if artists chime in, but I'm kinda more asking for other people's positive experiences. A referral is a bit better than an advertisement for something like this.
