New upcoming project, opinions more than welcome

I have a time slot coming open a little later this month with Hermgoldtail, I have two ideas and I’m not sure which one to go with.

My first idea is to do a picture involving a poor unfortunate, male or female, having rather unfortunate run in with a Mind Flayer. I haven’t determined all the details, but the Mind flayer doing what they do scrambling/eating the mind of the victim. Very possible getting messy, aka including water sports.

My second idea would be doing another picture and story along the lines of “Standing Witness” exploring that world a bit more. Possibly having a predator falling into the hands of some angry herbivores that are upset about the treatment they’ve been receiving.

If anyone actually follows, my channel closely and has some ideas, I would love to hear them :-)

Also, in the next month or two, I plan to do another project with Lady Rue in the “ No fairy tail Ending” series that one’s mostly written, and set up. Just need to find time and resources between myself and the artist.

personally I just enjoy the almost doctor precision level of body horror/anatomy. Sometimes the themes can be a bit heavy at times but you never seem to go beyond the fact of nature.
Don't know if that's any help, Probably isn't, but it's at least my thoughts

Nope that’s much appreciated, even when writing or ordering commissions of admittedly gruesome things. I try to find a balance as to not seem too over the top and or stretch suspension of disbelief or seem cruel just for its own sake.

In my opinion, you achieve the greatest creative potential with calm, without sudden twists and turns, descriptions of the characters' feelings faced with a difficult/terrifying situation (Biology Class) so i would vote for "Standing Witness".

If you like (as we wrote under the graphic "No-one praying for me") the atmosphere of exploring gloomy, dark themes and/or playing the bad guy, then I recommend Stephen Kig's book "It". It's a bit long at times, but I listen to an audiobook so it doesn't bother me too much. Perhaps reading this will inspire you:)

Oh no my friend,  I would have hoped at least a hint of Stephen kings “ It” would have come through in some of the stories. I originally read that 3 foot thick book back in high school many moons ago, a few years ago, while traveling for work, I listened to the audio book version. If I remember right, it was 400 hours and took up a small stand alone 1TB hard drive LOL 😝

Stephen king has been a personal favorite for many years, even if I think I prefer Dean Koontz ability to get to the point a bit faster while  still building suspense and atmosphere. With the most recent project involving the demon, he is partially influenced by “It’s” ability to shape shift with a dash of Freddy’s twisted sense of humor.

Still, a difficult choice, I very recently became familiar with the Mind Flayer creatures and thought they have very interesting potential both in the art and the stories that can be told involving mind control/games. That said it’s fun to world build and explore character interactions like in “ Standing Witness”

Did you not enjoy the twists and turns in that one ??
