I have a new project just starting and I need some input from my loyal followers. I’ll try not to ruin it too much but it’s going to involve a anthro bull that runs a meat market butcher shop in the same universe/world as “ Standing Witness, Biology class and Little Molly’s big day” The butcher shop as you might imagine sells meat from anthros and might even keep, let’s just say some very fresh meat on hand for certain clientele willing to spend the big bucks.
This story will be an interview with the store or chain of stores owner, the currently unnamed anthro bull. While I have thought of a number of questions that the also unnamed interviewer will ask, I figured some of you might have some interesting ideas. So if you are so inclined, what do you think a local news agency or national reporter might ask of such an owner?

Since the questions are in the style of a reporter, then the extension of the answer to the questions:
- are you a herbivore yourself and can you harm other herbivores? (bull: I've always valued strength, so even though I'm a herbivore, I'm a conqueror/predator inside) - did someone help you? (bull: dogs/carnivores helped me with this, I gained the position of sales leader thanks to my physical strength - I had to beat a few rebellious ones solidly:) (the most important) - do you do it for the money or did you have sex with your prey (Taurus: calculation appeared over time, at the beginning it may have been curiosity about sex with another herbivorous species, first attempts "inflicting pain during sex is fun", with age he preferred to watch other canines play with their prey, and now/currently the bull forbids the practice of torture or sex with prey - another thing that horny canines "do it" when the boss is not looking)
Narrative method: a question is asked, a reminiscence appears, the bull talks (1-person narrative method, as if he saw it with his own eyes) And at the end of a given answer, the narrative smoothly changes to the one as if he was telling another person and there is a return to reality where the reporter and the bull they are sitting and talking together. An example of transitioning to the real world: the bull sees the water flowing into the sewer in reminiscence (e.g. after the meat washing process) and in the real sees the whirl of coffee (because someone stirred it with a spoon)
BDW: Have you dealt with anime Beastars? (I won't talk about the manga, because I don't like the atmosphere of manga) If not, take a look, the relationships of predators and prey and the whole world are amazingly created.

Nice ideas, a few of those are certainly going in, even if the answers might be different. I was going to write the story as an interview transcript style with the reporter, asking the question then the owner replying with only minor observations or actions. Think a Ted talk or one of those Sunday morning interviews.
And yes I’m very familiar with Besstsrs even if I wasn’t up until very recently. I was really surprised to find out that there was a show and long manga that went over almost the exact ideas I like to explore LOL 😝

In general, since my main fursona is running a pet food processing outfit (at least in his main continuity) I should be able to answer most such questions on his behalf, but I don't want to intrude on your story. I might write my own, though. Maybe as a conversation with his nephew whom he's training to take over the company.

That said this particular shop is going to be named Hanz’s Fine and Exotic Meats and is basically where wealthy predators can shop for their protein. Not having to rely on those public supplies or those grocery stores that get their meat from traffic accidents or hospitals
