9 years is even LONGER than necessary between journals

So yeah. I don't think that people would even remember me here. I had not posted anything new on IB, because 1, I don't do cub art, so you will not see cub art here in my gallery, and 2, trying to manage multiple galleries at once is just way too tiring. x_x

But yeah, so much things have happened between the last time I actually posted anything on IB, and now. The pandemic happened, global lockdown, etc.. I've graduated from university, posted quite a lot of new trance music tracks over at my Bandcamp page... But, anyway, the point here is for my potential comeback to Inkbunny, considering what had happened as of late, from a certain well-known furry site that I'm sure that y'all know of.

I'm repeating my stance here. I do not do cub art. All of my characters are of legal age; no exceptions. The main problem, though, is that I specialize in kemono art. Because of that, due to their new policy of "if it has the proportions of a kid, then it is a kid; no exceptions", my art could be mistaken as cub art because of this stupid rigid new rule that they'll be upholding starting this July 2nd. Once, in another now-defunct furry art site, one of my art of my fursona was mistakenly flagged as "cub art" due to this misunderstanding and the childlike proportions of my fursona.

Excuse me if I jump into rant territory here, this time concerning about Pokémon and Digimon, and how this new policy could affect art about them. Digimons are ageless. They've existed since the very moment the Internet existed. They don't have a concept of "growing old" -- Digivolution is simply a change from one form to another more stronger form... or changing back to their weak rookie forms. They have phoenix-style immortality: dying simply means reverting back to their egg forms. (Permanent deaths are still possible, though, depending on how much drama that each respective Digimon anime series wanted to throw to their audience.)

As for Pokémon, it's important to note that Pokémon evolution does not equate to "growing up". It's possible for a Pokémon to never evolve in its entire life: one episode of the Pokémon anime series featured an elderly Treecko, which you can search on Google right now to show that I'm not lying at all. Conversely, it's possible for a Pokémon to prematurely evolve, even as a baby, if the right conditions are met (like mishandling an evolution stone, for example).

My point here is that these new policies are stupid. It's too restrictive, and it'll only result in many artists being mistakenly suspended for drawing chibi-proportioned adult characters in adult situations. Regardless, if it comes to that, then from then on, I'll be posting all my future adult content right here in IB.

Thanks for reading this journal entry, which most people might not gonna read, anyway. But yeah, it's necessary, so people can understand what has been going on.
