Thinking Of Trying Itaku Too. Thoughts?

Just like the title says, I'm thinking of giving Itaku a try after seeing a couple of my friends and people I follow mention it. Much like my recent invasion of Inkbunny, this wouldn't be intended to replace my activity on any site I currently use, but rather, be an addition to my roster.

(Praise be upon Postybirb for enabling me to be active on multiple sites without spending an hour a day just uploading to sites individually.)

Does anybody have any experience with Itaku? What are your thoughts and opinions on it? Worth a shot? Should I go through the effort of migrating a bunch of my art there if I join, or just start fresh?

Hoping to hear from anybody that has thoughts on the matter. I'd rather not go through the effort of starting with another site just to have it be one that nobody uses, or one that ends up imploding out of nowhere (glares at Buzzy Art or whatever the hell it was called, at least that dumpster burst into flames while I was still in the "I might give this one a shot" phase, before I wasted any time making an account and posting).

Looks nice for sure, has nice support for bulk uploads and tagging, and proper tagging is more enforced than here on IB (so the blacklists and search work even better). From user's perspective, I find it way better than FA to be sure... at least for the artworks of people I'm following. Generally, it feels a bit more like a social media oriented platform, than art gallery (although unlike Twitter it does serve that purpose well, thanks to the tags and search feature).

Good to know! I do think reuploading my old art is sorta important both since it provides a bit of context for stuff I do, and just in case any of the other sites I use just decide to not be accessible anymore. As much as I'd love to do the ol' "archive everything one by one" like I did for Inkbunny, that took a few weeks.

My first impression was that it was definitely more "social media" than "art gallery", and I typically find those infinitely scrolling feeds quite tedious, but I suppose at the very least I could sign up and watch a few people and decide if I like how the site works before actually committing too much. I did see it has an actual gallery and favorites page, though, which is a must.
