Where did you mostly download them from? If it's mostly inkbunny, it might be worth it save the ones from artists that deleted their accounts and delete the rest, since inkbunny does save the artist's name in the file name.

i like to download em in bulk then sort through them i never look at them again—until the next culling could see if you get something from the process of going through them, i like it for inspiration

I just checked my collection. My furry folder is 112gigs of various pics, flashes and movies I have collected over the years. It is just collecting dust in my external hdd but I have no intention of deleting it!

I feel this... T3T It's something I learned from when the internet was a luxury, rather than an everyday thing (many years ago here). You basically had to save/download everything you looked at or were interested in for when you couldn't go online. Obviously nowadays its so much better but I can't shake the habbit just yet...

my yiff collection was getting close to 400k, I deleted most of it, only keeping what I really liked and it reduced to only 98k, and I can proudly say that 98% of them I have embeded the Artist as metadata so I can locally search with that tag x3

cull or organize? mine is like 80% organized by sex , species, and actions, poses, special folders for favorite kinks . sub folders within sub folders. It's an ongoing process. but once the file tree is established its easy enough to stow pics. sometimes just dl bunches by search criteria right into the major categories or kinks .
