Looking for beta readers

I got a couple of stories that I've been swamped down in trying to edit myself, so I was hoping anybody would be willing to try to beta read my stuff.

This is my first time ever possibly working with beta readers, so I hope you will understand my inexperience in how this is all supposed to work.

I would really appreciate the help.

Are you looking for someone to proofread, or just critique (And yes, there's a difference)? In either case, I can help. I'd only ask for returning the favor with my own works.

Mostly critique I guess, but I wouldn't say no to some help with catching typos and the like. Do note that I don't like to read dark material, so if too dark or have themes I'm not comfortable with I might have refuse.

That's fair. I wouldn't consider any of my current stories 'dark', but that's more up to a reader than an author.
