I have some experience with it, but if you're starting from zero, you better have a deep C++ knowledge or you'll struggle with it.
Sure you can work with blueprints for some stuff, but complex logic becomes unwieldy as it just becomes literal spaghetti code with all the connections and nodes and stuff.
If it's an indie project you're working on, and super high quality graphics are not a must, Unity or Godot are much more friendlier engines.
