The around the world balloon adventure?

I remember it being the only chipmunks thing that I would watch. I HATED naughty bad boy characters as a kid and Alvin was right up there.

I always found him pretty annoying too. But they acknowledge it with how the other characters perceive him.

Ah, the Chipmunks were a big part of my childhood growing up. And even now, I still own many of the dvds, including the Chipmunk Adventure. My fave part was the boys being captured by the tribespeople

It's a lot of fun! The character design and animation is far better than you'd expect. Some really well done musical scenes, like the Boys/Girls of Rock & Roll number, plus a very silly plot involving the most ridiculous way to smuggle diamonds you can possibly imagine. And yes, it's odd that they waste no time in getting the Chippettes into skimpy, revealing harem outfits, with the Chipmunks ending up in nothing but loincloths soon afterwards.

Even before that. When they first get out of their balloon their clothes are all ripped up with panties showing. Then there was the underwater scene where Brittany's bathing suit left little to the imagination.

oh cool i have seen it before , and as for the pervy stuff a lot of cartoons back then did not have a big thing about even some full nude seen's when i was in school they would have all sorts of movies and cartoons for us kids every friday after school and diffrint cartoons i remember had some very um well you know pervy stuff pipi long stokking comes to mind , all the newer remakes don't show thos kids in a skinny dip seen and well lets just say the boy in that you could realy tell he was a boy , and there was some foreign films that was well today that school would be in so much truble so yeah , i was about 8yrs old at that time

my how times have chaged ...

I remember that too, it wasn't just the Chipmunks. I think it was less pervy and just more free. But to go back and watch it now I always think, you couldn't get away with this outside of anime.

and yet in a anime called boco no peco , people blow a nut about that when theres other animes that are even more reviling and 100 times more nastyer . go fig that one out .

To this day the chipmunk adventure is still one of my favorite movies.

And yes there's a shitload of fan service of the chipettes and even the chipmunks....those little jungle outfits...woof!

The entire getting lucky song is about getting laid...come on XD

I remember liking this movie when I was a kid, tho I don't think we had it in our collection. Definitely a strange concept for a film regardless. Fun tho n.n

Esh, that's a movie I haven't seen from my childhood in a long time.
Yeah, the movie was higher quality then the TV show, and from all those angles and you mention "pantyshots", never really noticed it as a kid, for just looked like normal human movement. And from relooking on Youtube to the "Boys and Girls of Rockin Roll" musical number, yeah the animation still holds well from it's quality.

"Despite what Google says, it is not available for streaming, at least not in the US."
I've noticed that with other old animated films from the 80s/90s on the low end, says suppose to be streaming but no one has it in any country, so you have to hunt down a DVD, if lucky, on Ebay, since VHS are all gone.
For noticed that when trying to find David Copperfield, the Canadian 1994 anthropomorphic one.

The insane amount fan service. It starts off with ripped clothes to bikini shark attacks, and just kept going. And thats just with the Chippettes. The boys were hitting on Latinas and somehow wound up in incredibly tiny thongs. But you knew the producers knew where to focus the fanservice because I remember the girls got a ton more screen time than the boys.

Fun fact: To this day, I still sing the "My Mother" song to my mom every Mother's Day.

I felt like I was getting fan service too. Of course my furry brain is always thinking that. But then, every one of those frames was hand drawn by someone taking the time to draw panties and crotch shots. There was no online furry community at the time, but I know animators never shied away from that kind of stuff.
