Not sure how to post AI-assisted artwork

I usually frankenstein multiple "exposures" together to get the elements I like best and it doesn't really lend itself. Are people interested in a timelapse on how to postwork images stuff?

I know it's very contentious but idk, when I can't sleep, sometimes I just like to type in my niche interests or fetishes or whatever... especially with Purplesmart and Lumi AI Discord bots available on my phone. Personally, I don't think Midjourney is worth the cost atm since Dalle3 seems to do it better and for free.

I also like NovelAI but it's kind of being the curve, haven't resubbed in a while.

I think you're only allowed 6 of them in a set, but it does annoy people if you post about 400 pics a day.

Regarding the open source aspect of it, I don't know if you have the resources available, but setting up your own Stable Diffusion or Graviti Diffusion instance on your own machine or (preferably) a separate machine has been a godsend to me.

Granted, I did try to do it as cheap as possible with used parts, but I was able to get a very competent server up and running for $400 and $300 of that was just the graphics card lol

Yeah, I don't have a PC that can run it locally. Wish I did! Spent like $10 for "pay as you go" colab. Like the colaboratory literally told me I couldn't run the code on the free tier, idk. Hate to see it.

Maybe if I finally get my proper server rack back up I could set up an instance for you to utilize if you wanted. Just a thought! I'd already be increasing my electric bill for my own stuff so it's not like it'd cost me anything but a bit of time, haha.

there's always the scraps folder, since most people don't come to artist galleries to see computer made images.

So I just had an idea. I can't help with the open source vs closed source issue but I figure you can have a submission of 3 files

1: Your initial input into the AI system
2: A GIF of all the iterations you went through in order to get to your final result
3: Said final result.

It cheers me up and I really struggle with depression. Sometimes it just lets me get to my favorite part of the art: the painting and shading and texture part.

Also, I think I first encountered the imagegen AI with Artbreeder and Deepdream and glitchart apps on my phone. You may have not expected it, but I've always messed around with it thinking it was cool. I'm still not as deep as some people are with it. But generally technology that makes lives easier is here to stay and won't disappear any time soon.

In my opinion, there is nothing to be said against it.
Who says that some of the most "prominent" artists don't also use AI?
Artists like "Katarhein" also use AI, and none of the fans are whining like little kids. I find all this fuss about AI really annoying! As if AI would ever replace real artists, that's really nonsense in my opinion.
Television has never replaced radio either... Unfortunately, it's completely impossible to talk about it with some people.

I'm telling you as an old Photoshop veteran, if you want to work with AI, do it! 😉
I can't wait to see what you can do with the new technology!❤️

@Haters Please don't see my comment as an invitation to an argument, I don't have the time or inclination to sound out the "pros and cons". It's also about giving advice to a fellow artist.

Unfortunately, this will not change for the time being. As I said, I don't think that's a bad thing at all.
You'll never change anyone's opinion. If you want to try it out, then do it, ButtercupSaiyan.
Just don't forget to tag your pictures as such!
That's really important, otherwise you'll make yourself "vulnerable" to such "haters."
Also make sure that you use freely accessible AI generators like "civit . ai" for example. You also have to specify which prompts you have used, which seed, which model etc. etc. search here on Inkbunny for "ai" or "ai generated" and look into the Description box and you will know what i mean. 😉
