Why: New Policy Change, regarding pornographic depiction of non-human genitals.
When: First notice reported to me 3 hours ago.
What: Adult Furry content creators (particularly furry artists and animators) appear to be in the process of being purged from Patreon after a grace period prior to the end of this billing cycle (you get funds after the 5th of each month). Virtually all instances I know of right now were notified by patreon that they had depicted animal genitals in pornography against TOS.

We're expecting the present purge to run from about April 5th today until April 8th Monday, which is when banks will resume processing charges. This looks like a classical "after business on a Friday" policy roll-out, intended to skip the news cycle entirely and covertly engage in the process without eliciting a response in time.
If you know of a furry artist, animator, or other adult content creator hit by this purge, please comment or note me with a link to their announcement journal so I can try to form an initial tally. I'll probably stop around like 20 or more, that seems like a fair quantity to assume I am right here.
