Professor-Bob.net is Back Online!

www.Professor-Bob.net is once again a library and repository of all things Kayla and RU! I even gave it a bit of an impromptu update, adding my husband's book cover art to the series' story page, and all of his most recent works to the art page.

This is largely in part to

making an awesome hosting suggestion that made getting everything together stress-free in less than a day, in a place I didn't have to worry about, and

for being a helpful resource, considering that the backend of website configuration is something I had zero experience in! I'd not have known for sure if I did everything right otherwise. Many cheers and thanks - as well as to all of the different folks that alerted me to the initial outage and inadvertently let me know that the site was well used and enjoyed! :3

Good to see it worked out for you! You might want the Ruffle one-liner in the <head> section of the pages with Flash/SWF on so they actually work in modern browsers. (Though I'm not entirely sure it works right, when I tried it out it seems to have purple and red lines going down it for Kayla's switching - maybe that's deliberate, though? If not, it could be reported as a bug.)

Whoops, nope, that'd be a bug! The only red and purple lines should be on Kayla! X3

I have a wmv version that I think wasn't as crisp, but is also slightly smaller. I had edited that page to see if I could replace the flash embed, but my quick attempt at it just made the wmv file automatically download. I'll have to revisit that idea.

Love the nice simple page. Reminds me of when I used to be able to code this stuff in notepad. Need more of them :)

That simplicity was something I never wanted to get rid of, especially way back when I first made the site! :3 It made sure the pages were easy to load, even with a slow connection. It also let me continue to code it by hand without any headaches. X3

Yea I may look into learning the current html code. I forgot most of what I knew, and what I DID know was html ...1.0?
