Through a close friend's recommendation, I reluctantly set up new accounts on BlueSky and Mastodon. I reported the fake BlueSky account, but later on someone (presumably the same guy) flagged me for impersonation. That's rich! I quickly filed an appeal to the moderators.
You would think after over two decades of being demonized, most people would see I've taken steps to piece things back together. Unfortunately, there's a small minority who won't accept any form of redemption.
I've made mistakes in the past, and have since owned up to them. Some people can't be helped; they view a lapse of judgement as a means to demonize someone for a cheap thrill and a quick buck.
