When the world piles on you with injury and insult.

So my new job required me to go through moab training, use of force training, got pepper sprayed and tazered.

It's a private security licensing class for the Hospital I work security for now.

During the tazer event, the instructors go both probes in my back, leaving enough muscle control for my legs to kick.

While kicking I ended up fracturing my left big toe.

It was all recorded for legal and safety purposes and I got to make a work comp claim on it.

But after getting out of the E.R. for x rays and meds, I backed my car up and cracked a brake light and rear fender.

Not bad enough to be illegal driving, but that's an insurance claim on top of work man's comp.

Not a financial issues so no worries.

But got kicked around a lot by life.

Least the claims are going through well enough, and hopefully I'll heal up in a week.

But of anyone wonders what it's like to get pepper spray or tazered, I can fill them in.

It's suck bad.

Dude, I'm sorry. You really have to go through that for security training?

In Wisconsin pepper is required.

Tazer is voluntary.

I get a certificate so I don't have to demonstrate it again.

But with my injury, it's likely hospital corporate will not let them do voluntary Tazer demonstration again.

The fender collision happened because I had to go in get a update work restriction note, because the E.R. couldn't just email it to me.

Lucky class ended early that day and I got to sleep it off.
