This is a project I've been sitting on for a bit, now ready to be shown.
My friend, one Alex Reynard, is a writer. He has around a dozen furry centric novels under his belt and is currently working on his largest project yet:
'Phobiopolis'
I and a few other of his buds have been proofing it with him and I can tell you it is a fantastic romp. Ever wonder what 'The Wizard of OZ' would be like you replaced OZ with Silent Hill? Phobiopolis is your answer.
"Writing takes time though, and I will admit upfront that I don't know when this epic will be finished. I'm halfway done now. But because I can't give you a solid deadline, I will not expect anything more than you feel like giving. This Patreon account will be an overturned hat in front of a street performer, nothing more. If you want to contribute, you'll have my gratitude. And I won't hold any of my content for ransom. When the book is done, it will be released for free on Inkbunny (along with a downloadable soundtrack if I can scrape that together.)
I want you guys to see Phobiopolis. I want you to be there in the Blackdamp, in Coryza, in Ectopia Cordis, on the road to Anasarca. I want you to meet Toby, Junella, George, Doll, Zinc, Piffle, Luxy, and Aldridge. I want to show you a land of monsters, wrenches, revolvers, transformations, willwells, imaginite, ferris wheels and bloodbacon. A land where death is fleeting, but there are far worse things to fear.
This will be a story where anything can happen. The more gruesome the better. If there's anything you've always wanted to see in a dark fantasy world, let me know. No guarantees, but all ideas will be considered. And all Patrons will be acknowledged in the final work."
As part of this project I have also produced the book cover as you see here (Alex was kind enough to do the text work for me)
