Alright, I think I'll stop here for tonight, so that I have something to feature.

I won't copy over my rant that I posted with this on FA, but it still makes me want to strangle someone when I see a drawing where they fuck up the patagium. GLIDING MEMBRANES ARE SERIOUS BUSINESS >:C

IMPORTANT: This guide is ONLY for sugar gliders and other "wrist-wing" gliders (Petaurus species). As noted on the image, other species such as flying squirrels, colugos, and even other gliding possums have patagia that differ in important ways.

... And since my flier keeps LAUNCHING himself at me as I type, I probably oughta do another tutorial for new world flying squirrels soon...

Thanks for this. I always thought the flap of skin connected at the lower ankle. Yet I did not know it was on the other side that it connected to. It's good that you have a study subject for this. All I have had are crappy youtube videos. :/

I'm probably still going to make the error of connecting the flap at the calf/ankle only because Sweets is more cartoony and wears clothing. *shifty eyes* and I secretly like showing off her boots.

In my fan-fics involving the Harvey characters, HotStuff has a girlf(r)iend Habbytrotter. She has flight membranes unlike her boyf(r)iend. Their powers are:
fire
light
flight
teleportation
penance beam
necro-weapons
necro-armor.
If you can't intuit what they are, I will eagerly tell you.
