If the subject and pose are familiar, that's good. He wanted it modeled after an old pic by artist pemyu, who you should look up sometime if you aren't familiar with their really cute pikachus etc

How much do you take for say an Avatar picture like this, a rough estimate that is?~

I'm not sure, honestly! This took about 90 minutes to do, and i charged 30 for it. 30 is the price of one hour of sketch session, so i probably budgeted it out poorly. Top half of a pikachu is one of the easiest things i could do, though, i just underestimated how long the clothing would take.

So basically i'm not sure. It depends on the character, and how long i think it'd take to do

I really ought to look around and see what people are charging these days, to inform prices on commission categories i don't frequently do.
it'd probably take like 2 hours to sketch / color? So i guess just the hourly rate, it'd end up being around 60. Your dragon's a bit more time consuming than a pikachu.
