A little fox devouring a shroom that almost certainly can't be good for him. But still, a gesture of appreciation for all the hours keeping me company while doodling, and for reassuring me that reaching my 30s ain't so bad after all.

A big focus in this piece was subtle color gradient. There's an enchanting depth that can come out of just delicately mixing in a complementary color, and I want to play around with this a lot more when the chance presents itself.

All pertinent apologies to Beth Cavener (who's showing in New York at the moment).

Hell yeah! Last year, I was holding off on seeing the Minion movie until I got the audio commentary they promised XD

lmao did they deliver? I can't remember if they did or not.

Last year was my first time donating to it but had watched the year before that, I believe. I'm so lazy that I end up never making stream art soon enough for it to be relevant anymore so I don't do it much haha

(Also, thanks for Watching me!! ;w; )

They did (finally!) But they were pretty intent about commenting on the film as little as possible XD

(And you're totally welcome!)

So understandable xD

Not that I'm asking you like you watched every stream or anything but did Vinny ever actually do the Japanese karaoke? I don't think I've seen it but maybe it was just Twitch exclusive for like YouTube's dumb copyright system lmao

Is the roughly question mark shape of the fox and the mushroom together an intentional result of the perspective or was this just a happy coincidence? I'm simply curious, I love the picture itself, the coloring and lighting is very well done, and I could see this being a very cute Question Mark thumbnail for some programs and webpages. :)

The question mark is deliberate. It was inspired by a sculpture by Beth Cavener in a similar pose, and kinda represents the Mario question mark block that the fellow I did this for is fond of wearing. I hope that doesn't spoil the magic XD

The shape had me thinking this was a wall decoration. (Future merch idea?) I really like the soft lighting and colours in this one, it feel's almost, calm, if I had to describe it in a word.
