This is me with my lover Towi- a panda whom after a little over a year of separation decided to get back together when that ole' spark between us rekindled the fires of love and romance. Since he and I work at two different jobs with two different sets of hours (he as a day shift technical engineer for some company, and I as a overnight maintenance worker for a major department store where you can "Save Money, Live Better), we never get a lot of free time to ourselves during most of the week because one of us will be sleeping when the other works; and the only time we have to kiss and such is during the early mornings when we have a quick breakfast with one another before exchanging turns on our bed. However when my weekly three day break comes around, we get that much needed time to be with one another and enjoy each others company and scents.

Maybe because he was less better back then than he is now. I know that back when this was finished, he told me the fee would be $15, but it became a freebie because i wasn't informed of the cost beforehand. He's gotten better at showing people the prices of his work, but he still needs to improve in other areas- like trying to wear down his waiting list before adding in new slots, posting his list and showing the progress of the ones he's working on; and lessening the amount of on demand stream sessions he does so he won't be backed up. Also it wouldn't hurt for him to give a clearer answer than "just a couple of months" when people ask about the list.

I agree. not only is he doing commissions on pics, but is also trying to sell his brand of merchendise; along with trying to go into fursuit making. to me, he is putting waaay too much on his plate; and is only going to burn himself out by trying to juggle three "businesses" at once. and just recently he rised the asking price on his commissions, which will act like a double edged sword later on.
i agree that the media we produce in the fandom should be an act of fun and not so much a business. things are a lot better when you do them for fun, but the moment you decide to turn it into a serious business, it no longer becomes fun; and you end up dispising it.

I noticed it on Sofurry that he mention on partnering with someone on making a fursuit. and Rising his prices on commissions? really? that's just plan stupid. He's just doing cartoonic porn, not some masterpiece on a canvas and use real paints.

He raised the asking price on his commission because he hopes that it will "slow down" the number of requests he recieves from people wanting a pic. yes it will slow down the amont of requests he'll get, but it will also caus him to not make as much money as he used to because a lot of people will be unwilling to pay a higher price for the same quality of work.
i think this is where most furry artists go wrong. when they start drawing in the fandom, they do it because its fun. however once they start trying to make a living off what they draw and turn it into a business, then it starts to loose its appeal. one thing i have noticed when it comes to artists that draw for fun vs draw for cash, is that you never really see random works from the artists that draw for money; but you see loads from those who draw for fun.

Yeah. actually. I'm multi tasking , Commission and Random art at the same time. but I have more priority in commissions even though they didn't give me due dates so I'm ok with it. I'm also working on my other artworks, mostly the Summer Theme Artworks.
Furthermore, Anthony gonna be broke in this kind of high pricing. unless he lowen the prices of his commissions and don't be a pussy around Line art and Sketch commissions. he should accept it even it's just a small amount.. Well, who will blame that he do requests? No one should be blame on that part and they just wanted an artwork from him.

yeah i think its stupid that artists will charge somewhere around $15 to $20 for plain inked line art, and then charge close to $90 for colored works. this is why i look for artists that do cheaply priced line art. i have gimp, so i can color a line art work myself and avoid the high price of colored work from the artist.

Yeah... too bad that amwuff turned into a total bitchy burnout that spends more time getting high and going to rdoom parties at cons than on his commissions list. Heck he has already been ticketed by artists beware due to people having to wait for months for a commission while his buddies get their first thing, and for slapping costumers with cancelation fees when they got tired of waiting and wanted a refund. That is one of the problems with some artists in the fandom. They get an inflated ego from people liking their work, and start acting like they're god's gift to the fandom. :/
