This is truly phenomenal, although, it seems as though this is at least partially digital. Still, very good. I'm amazed at the emotion this evokes at just a glance.

It's fully digital.

I thought it might be, and that's why I said "at least partially." It's quite good, regardless. Rare to see anyone even trying to emulate a style like this has, because, quite frankly, it's WAY harder to give something rough, uneven textures and still have the perception of dimension than it is to give the illusion of detail and depth through exagerated definition (extreme lighting contrasts) as you see with most digital art.

This piece in reminiscent of someone who has spent decades honing their craft with traditionals, and learning how to create the perception of having more detail than you really do (a la oil painting). I had my reasons to believe many of the strokes were digital, though, so I wanted to be sure. All in all, I'm impressed with your talent, but I might be even more impressed now with the fact that you haven't entirely fallen to the level of the typical digital artist.

I guess you don't look at a lot of digital art then.
