Duncan took Asteria out to get a couple of milkshakes before they were going to park for the open-air concerts. However, while waiting for their shakes, it started to rain, and they didn't know until they stepped outside. They saw a bench under the shop's awning and they scurried under the awning and sat on the bench. Neither of them wanted to try to get to the concert while it was raining, as they didn't want to get soaking wet, and most likely the concert would be postponed or cancelled anyway. So they stayed there, talking about things and drinking their milkshakes while the rain fell.
