After the horrible decimation of their home by "The Hunters", the two brothers, Paulo and Renaldo roamed from place to place in hopes of keeping them off their trail. Once they felt it was safe, the two of them begin to find a place where they could rest and eat. While Renaldo was fishing in a nearby river, Paulo decided to go look for shelter and happens upon a nearby cave. He bravely enters to check if it was empty, but much to his horror, he discovers it's inhabited by a massive male bear. Paulo, paralyzed by fear, stands before the hulking bear as it stands on its hind legs and bellows out a ferocious roar. In a matter of seconds, Paulo is struck by the bear's huge paws and knocked unconscious. Before the bear could lay another paw on him, Renaldo jumps into the fray and transforms into his full wolf form prepared to protect his older brother. Renaldo, dwarfing the bear with his massive size, uses all of his strength to effortlessly dispatch the bear without mercy.
A few moments pass by and Paulo shoots up from the ground screaming out "BEAR!" but when he looks around, he sees only his bruised up little brother trying to start a fire to warm them up. Renaldo responds with slight pain in his voice.
Renaldo : "The bear...Is gone"
Paulo : Woah? You took that guy down all by yourself?!
Renaldo : Yes...
Paulo : A-are you okay?
Renaldo : I'm fine..just a few scratches...
Paulo begins to rip off parts of his clothes and begins to treat his little brother's wounds with some medicinal herbs and plants he found and fashioned into medicine. The two of them sit by the fire enjoying its warmth and the bounty of fish Renaldo managed to catch. Suddenly the cave lights up with moonlight. The two of them, both venture out of the cave and see a wondrous sight. For the first time, both brothers forgot their troubles and enjoyed watching their first star shower together.
