A Stranger's Lark #1
A Stranger's Lark #13
"He said he was Rickert's friend when he was a Soldier. Do you know him too? Long Silver hair. He was so pretty, I could hardly tell he was a man." Guts heart stopped, as Erica continued to innocently tell Guts of Rickert's guest.
"More like someone from a Fairy Tale." Guts instinctively began running, leaving Little Erica, and Casca in a cloud of snow.
Guts charged through the snow covered woodland of the Mountainside near Godot's Workshop.
Guts could feel his already aching muscles strain further as he charges to likely place where He will be. Long Silver Hair.

"I really can't believe it." Rickert smiled, tears trickling down his cheeks.
"That day when no one but Guts and Casca came back... Judea. Corkus. Pippin. Not one of them." Rickert looked up from his tearful gaze.
"I don't know what happened that day. Guts won't talk about it, and I'm afraid to ask... I'd thought everything had ended. Had Gone away." With hope Rickert smiled, "But, You're alive and here we are again." Rickert was about to continue when he could hear commotion down the hill.
"Guts!" Rickert exclaimed seeing a running Guts halted at the edge of the Hill of Swords. Thick Vapour plumed out of Guts mouth as he panted heavily.
Guts glared at the supposed friend of Rickert's. Like the day before he stood their as if he had been taken from the past, from before the Rescue Mission, and from before their final due on a Snowy day like this, on a hill. Griffith. His angelic like features, his fair white feathers, his long flowing plumes.
Griffith! All of it just like it was before he sacrificed everyone. GRIFFITH! BEFORE HE TOOK EVERYTHING!
Guts grabbed hold of the hilt of the Dragonslayer as he charged at Griffith.
"GUTS!" Rickert exclaimed as he saw Guts begin his charge.
"W-wait a Minute!" Rickert stuttered not understanding Guts's aggression towards Griffith.
Before Guts could get close to Griffith, Rickerts Tackled at Guts, stopping him.
"MOVE RICKERT!" Barked at the young Retriever.
"I WON'T!" Rickert replied struggling to hold back Guts.
"Why're you attacking all of a sudden?! You're dead serious!!" Rickert continued.
"HE'S GRIFFITH! HE'S OUR GRIFFITH! SO WHY?!" Rickert pleaded.
Blood gushed from his mark of Sacrifice. Reminding of that day that he ruined everything.
"That...That's not the Griffith you know anymore!" Guts winced.
"What are you saying?" Rickert looked up in confusion.
Guts continued to try and move Rickert out of his way, but the Golden Retriever continued to grasp hold of him
"JUST GET OUT OF THE WAY!" Guts growled in frustration.
"NO! I DON'T UNDERSTAND!" Rickert cried back still holding on to the large Xolo.
"You never change." His voice grabbed the struggling men's attention.
"You always swing first, talk later." Griffith's soft voice echoed along the Cliff edges surrounding the Hill of Swords.
"No...Rather. You're the same way you were when we first met." Griffith smiled in the way he would have done.
His voice, his smile were like blades to Guts's psyche.
"DON'T TALK TO ME IN THAT SAME VOICE!" Guts barked angrily at the Angelic Falcon.
"YOU!! WHAT THE HELL'D YOU COME HERE FOR!" Guts shouted.
Griffith looked directly into Guts's eyes and said, "To see you." Stopped Guts in his tracks.
"It was far too turbulent at that tower. There was no chance to speak to you alone." Griffith continued.
"This place seems more fitting for us. The Band of the Hawk assembling once more."
"DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT NAME!" Griffith's words struck a nerve in Guts.
"I came here to know for certain whether anything will shake my heart." Griffith continued. "While I stand here before you in this new body of flesh, it seems I am free." These final words caused Guts to snap as he pushed Rickert aside and began his charge towards Griffith once again.
"YOU MEAN...AFTER ALL YOU DID...AFTER ALL OF THOSE YOU BETRAYED...YOU DON'T...YOU DON'T FEEL ANYTHING!?" Guts shouted as he charged through the monument of swords and snow.
Griffith watched unwaveringly at the enraged swordsman, "I'll not betray my dream. That is all." Griffith's words continued to feed into Guts's rage and anger, as he closed the charge swinging the Giant Dragonslayer at the unmoving Falcon.
Before the sword could crash down onto Griffith, in a flash a great Kushan blade blocked the attack.
Guts clenched his teeth in surprise.
"Long Time Black Swordsman." A Teeth grin emanated from a cruel muscular glare.
"ZODD?!" Guts Exclaimed.

It has been a ruddy long time since I uploaded or anything. Well over a month.
So what's been the happenings with me? Well essentially I managed to get some contracted work, Ironically enough with the exact same company that I worked with last year. So I have been focusing on that. The timetabling hasn't been too bad, as it is a 3 day week, BUT, 12 hour day's job.
I had been planning on doing a Berserk piece for quite a while, I just recently got into it, and I Fucken love it.
It is a brilliantly written and still ongoing story of Comradery, Betrayal, Love, Hate, and Existentialism. It is brilliant. I had heard of it for quite a while, and ended up watching the 1997 anime (Which is brilliant), and the 2016/17 anime(which is quite crap). Because of the lack of available media I decided to read the Online translated Manga that is up to date on all the Chapters. If you want a really good story to get into, I would recommend Berserk. I can recommend both the 1997 Anime and the actual Manga itself.
I am actually quite happy with the outcome of this piece. Especially with how long I have not been drawing for. It took me a while to get the right pose that I wanted, as well as getting Guts's face correct, as I mixing a dog's face (Which I don't have much practice with) with a specific character's face (Who I have never drawn before). The specific dog breed that I used to represent Guts is actually inspired by a chapter in Berserk, where some character's are investigating in one of the other main character's dreams and Gut's in this dream world is represented as a xoloitzcuintli.
But all in all I am super happy with this piece. I am planning on updating all my accounts and try and sort out that commission thingy-ma-bob.
Also super duper thank you to everyone for the fave, watches and views. My two Commission pieces for GrayKobold, that was super fun, and I hope to do more projects like that in the future.
Anyways, hope you enjoyed this and see you in the next upload.
Cheers, <3
