I originally got the book in audiobook form, but later bought it on Kindle. (Support your favorite authors, too!) I found out that this same scene had been illustrated by Rick Griffin when I was mostly done with the sketch phase. Normally, seeing someone else had already done what I was planning would take the wind out of my sails and I would scrap the drawing. But I continued on in this case. And I'm really happy with how it came out.
