When Dawn moved away from home to be with her mate, she began to miss the constant snowfall of her arctic homeland. Which is why she always gets so excited when the first snowfall of winter arrives. She puts on the scarf her mate crafted for her (he realized after the fact how silly it was to make a scarf for an *ice dragon*, but the sentiment was appreciated), and hurries outside to catch the biggest snowflake she can on her tongue. Just a little habit she picked up while growing up in the arctic north that she never truly grew out of; along with the memories it held of her childhood.
