I wonder if any other girls will quit while the boss is comatose. Debatable if he has just fainted, or died of heart failure. And if he does recover, can he protect that sudden wealth from the lawless types in this town? I doubt it. If even one departing girl says she left because her former boss struck it rich, the local crooks will be all over that SOB.
And yeah, kind of surprising the second girl didn’t take a little for herself. But maybe she figures that pile of wealth is cursed? Or that if she takes anything, and the guy does recover, he would have a reason to go after her?
It would be fitting karma if the weight of all that crushes him to death…
