LUCKY TRIVIA:
Luck was originally a generic white anthro with no species until I learned about jerboas. Jerboas are small, have long legs, big ears, and a poof on the end of their tail. Luck just HAPPENED to have all those, so I decided he's a jerb. At least partly a jerb.
But jerboas are tawny, not white. So I decided he's albino. But albinos have pink eyes and no stripes, so I decided he dyes his tail and wears cosmetic contacts.
Lucky also used to be sexless, and I just called him "he" cause that's the pronoun most people use when referring to animals. Later he was "mystery sexed" which some of my fans remember, until I finally caved and made him female. So the story is, his mom had a rough upbringing and didn't want her daughter to go through the same thing so she brought Luck up as a boy and put him on antihormone pills when he was 8, so he didn't experience puberty until he moved out and eventually stopped taking them in his early 20s.
That's the rando story I made up for him anyways! It's mostly a justification for me still habitually referring to Luck with he/him pronouns. As for Luck's opinion, he really doesn't care; his identity is more closely tied to his species than to his sex. His mom used to take him to trans support group meetups and he didn't know why cause he thought "trans" was short for people who were in "transition" and since he was decidedly a he, he didn't count as trans. He STILL thinks that! He dumb!
