I'm struggling with the next episodes of Brina and Futurepig, So playing around with science fiction ideas I drew the robot dressing in human skin. I liked how it came out, so I decided to make a furry version.

I was thinking, if you want to design a weapon that can infiltrate the enemy territory, you don't send a bodybuilder with a foreign accent, you send something everyone will trust. How about a cute cat girl. She even has a self-maintenance mode and sharpens her own claws.

I also included the humanoid version.

it's fun how the antique designs of androids is maintained into the now by artists like Our Host.

Well, to be honest, people started calling my style "retro" because it looks like 1980s cartoons to them. But that's simply because I started making these comics back in the 80s. Only recently I have embraced the "retro" thing a little more intentionally.

It's a terrible sign of aging, that the look of the future we grew up with is now so dated it's called "Retro". And yet yeah, it's been a full forty years since I was thirteen, so TRON and The Last Starfighter and Heavy Metal are now "classic" sci-fi cinema.
