I was gonna put here my thoughts about Frontiers, but they literally JUST announced that the game's gonna get a lot of updates with new content, and now I think... I'll just wait and see what this game's gonna feel like after they finish it, lol
So far I only hope they make it better. Sonic deserves much better.

Ooh, I like this one!
The muscles are visible, but also well blended so it's not overdone.
I get it, a light in the dark!

So, thank you for telling me about the updates, because I wouldn't have seen it for ages. I'm excited for it. I admit the game did feel rushed in places, maybe to meet the possible deadline, so hopefully this could remedy that and bring the game up to an even better potential.

If this pic is also foreshadowing the final boss, then yeah, I agree. This should've happened.

To be honest I was kind of expecting to get all these things on release, but hey - I've read enough interviews with Iidzuka and I'm just thankful for the fact that he got that extra year for the game's development. He always made it sound like Sega was really pushing against that. And now, when the game is as good as it is, it ultimately gets another year for the devs to finish it. It's great. Again, a really huge fucking shame all that extra content is gonna be added later, but it's better than nothing. I just fucking hope Sega learns the lesson and next time gives Sonic Team proper support and adequate time limit for the next game.

I couldn't decide if I wanted it to be the final boss there or not... But yeah, the purple glow is the colour of the main boss, so it kind of counts. I guess I just didn't wanna draw that boring ass moon, it's such a joke lol

Just saw it! Seems like more content for an entire year.

So, you were expecting... time attacks/time trials? I admit repeating a boss would've been fun too, not counting the last one.

The games need time and effort to be great. I wouldn't mind if the next one took five plus years again. They have a formula; now work on it and polish it. It'd be worth it if it is complete in one go. The first movie was delayed for quality, so why not Frontiers. Wouldn't have minded a delay until mid to late 2023. At least the extra content is free also instead of paying for a 'new chapter' every time. But yeah, Sega needs to really support Sonic Team.

Cool, I was right! Heh, but seriously, I thought the fight we had was just phase one. Most final bosses had different phases. We probably just had to break open its crust to move on to the next fight. Even the text before you fight says 'work with the Titans'. Plural. This had so much more potential to be a Super Sonic boss fight too.

I really like this one! I'm so hyped for the extra content! At least Sega is trying to be more involved with the development, even though I love the game as is it. Some things I'm hoping for, though, are re-playable bosses and maybe experiencing Sonic's friends saving him from the Cyber Corruption. Guess we'll have to wait a bit longer, but at least we have something to play until then.

new content eh? I'd like a chance to face the titans again, maybe an extra phase to the final boss (seriously, even in hard mode it doesn't feel satisfying enough, a shoot-em-up followed by a QTE you can't fail) perhaps a boss rush mode...maybe an extra island, perhaps set up in Virtual Space that is basically a recreation of the maps from Sonic Adventure?
