Dakka was very excited. A real pawdventure with one of the guilds top pawdventurers too! Everyone knew about Gude the pig paladin! Dakka could still remember the day when he joined the pawdventurers guild, Gude was there. He was the first real pawdventurer that Dakka really noticed, with his shiny armor and mighty presence, it enchanted the pup from the very get go. Back when he was a guard dog, he would see paladins from time to time. Always unreachable and otherworldly, even his guard owners seemed to be envious of them.
So, when Dakka found out that a beastfolk can be a paladin too, it elevated Gude in his eyes even further. From there on he would always try to be on the lookout for when the paladin was at the guild, which wouldn’t be all that often. From time to time, he would catch him drinking with the older pawdventurers or handing back a quest. Sometimes he would be lucky and Gude would be there when Dakka was helping in the guild pub, and he even got help from him once when he was dealing with the whole vita tower quest line…
In general though, he wasn’t really able to really interact with the hero, but even so he would remember each interaction and the helpful tips the paladin would give him. So now that he was finally in the same party as him, not as someone who needed help but as a party member, Dakka couldn’t contain his excitement. After all, what he wanted most was to be acknowledge by someone he looked up to.

“And then you finished the big quest after you defeated all of them! Wah, I can’t believe that I can be in party with you for this one! I put all the tips to practice and am much better pawadin than I was before!” Dakka spoke with great excitement.
“Ugh yeah, keep up the good work kid…”
Eeeeh… What a pain, its freezing and this brat is way too excited… do I know him? Seems familiar…
“So, what was your name again?”
“Dakka! And ah I never thanked you properly for giving me tips on how to become better pawadin!”
“Don’t sweat it kid…”
Tips… pawadin… ah… it’s the brat that served drinks at expmass. And at the tower that was him yeah… and I think I remember him at Rokuke’s place… I guess low level quests don’t pay much huh… Tsk, what a pain. The whole point of being a paladin was that I could sit in the palace… I need to find out a way to make someone else do the mandatory quests given to us. They didn’t even say it was all the way out here and now I must search for the monster myse… no… wait… this brat…. I just wanted someone to carry all the loot back for me and there was nobody else around, but he seems way too excited for all this. I guess he wants to be in a party with me that much huh, doesn’t even care that it is freezing ass cold here as long he gets to be in party… Wasn’t he a guard dog or something… hmmm, if he sniffs around, he might find the lair in a day or two... yeah, and I can get some warm ale while he searches for it...
“Erm... Dakka. How good is that snout of yours?”
