My guess would be that Daddy's taking his frustration on Lyrie, in quite a physical way. That'd explain her sudden change in behavior, she's trying to play out as if she's super happy with her life, and she's using Angelica as her "support" to take the mind off what Daddy dearest does to her. So instead she does same to Angelica. I've reread the 1st chapter and this one too, and noticed that only Angelica calls her lover by name, Lyrie adresses her with nicknames like "Good girl" or "Baby girl", but never by name.

Whenever I think its the end of the road for the comic i go through a grief cycle but eventually accept that its time to move on. Yay! I hope this doesn't seem too weird but I really do love how you draw claws, and the shape of their heads in your artwork in general. Also your paws too. It's the artists that take the time to put effort into the little details like that, that stand out to me. I've followed you on IB for a while because of that. I also really like the setting and story in this comic too.
