I feel it shows her favoritism by her making the girls hamburgers and Nigel is probably is starving in his cell, after all can he even feed him self now. And I can't imagine anyone but Tristan wanting to help him eat. I hope he gets his sight back some way.

Well taking away somebody's eyesight is unnecessary, she can't tell me there would not have been other options. this is just cruel, and it's not a punishment to learn somebody a lesson.

First, If the outcome will be something else, that nobody expects, that's entirely up to the artist, and I will accept the outcome. Until then it's my own opinion like you have yours, and I am allowed to make any assumption I want. So don't tell me what I can do or not, you're not my dad, everybody has his own opinion, luckily. I do enjoy the story as a whole, I just can't stand her, being this way. And besides, I always side with people that have it bad like Tristan and Nigel. I can certainly understand being empathic to other's situations, but there is always context too that needs to be considered. Nothing happens in a vacuum, and that is especially true when it comes to relationships.
It may very be that he needed to change, now, or that desire to sabotage her could have spelled doom for everyone.
