Lisa Simpson is my one non-furry crush. I've had at thing for her since the show first aired in 1989 when I was 14. I love how intelligent and precocious she is and I've always imagined her exploring her sexuality at a rather young age. I like portraying her a little older than she is in the show with a more pre-teen personality.
Anyway, here is the SFW version of my entry for Lisamania '23. The NSFW versions will show up next month with the other entries.
It's kind of a shame they turned her into more of a pretentious self-righteous dreamer character in the later seasons. More of a parody of millenials and Gen-Z trying to show some sort of flaw in wanting to make the world a better place being somehow misguided or flawed in concept. Can't imagine young girls taking her as a role model anymore to aspire to more in life. Same thing happened to Marge to the point she doesn't even properly articulate half the time just making grunts. Simpsons around the 2000-2010 was okay, but it fell off massively since then. Really wonder where that horrible attitude is coming from, writers just done with it trying to get cancelled?

The Simpsons has always been a parody of....damn near everything. I admit I haven't watched much of the last....20+ seasons, holy shit. I know what you mean about Lisa though, and of course Homer has been made into a nonfunctioning buffoon. I guess that stuff doesn't bother me, I just find it cartoonish and funny. And regarding
's comment about Marge, I was floored when I read that after 34 years it's the same voice actors. I did notice Marge's grunts in the last episode I watched.

Who knows what's going on internally at the show, but it is definitely weird. If it is down to focus groups, executives trying to appeal to some group or just running out of ideas trying to dumb down the characters. It's clear from other shows complex characters aren't to everyone's tastes or at least that of the executives, looking at you Netflix axing Inside Job. Show probably is past its prime now and they just don't want to kill it off just to keep that "longest running" record. At least Futurama is getting another season this year so there is some show with a brain still left :)

Aw shit man are you serious about Inside Job? I loved that show!
Back to the Simpsons, I can't imagine it was supposed to last more than a few seasons. Homer and Marge were written as Class of '76, so they clearly had a timeline. As soon as that was abandoned I kinda stopped taking it seriously. I remember complaining to one of my roomates in the mid 90s that they should've stuck with it. His actual response was, "You just wanna see Lisa's tits!" I was thinking, "Well yeah! But that's beside the point." Oh well, so it goes.
