Since I seem to randomly talk about how cool I think it would be to be a robot sometimes, and having the ability to do so (artistically at least), and while I'm desigining myself potential avatars/alternate fursonas in pretty much every species I have designed... here's Delta Seven, a mechanical monstrosity I designed in late 2020.
----- I haven't really decided much about him yet, although I think he's the same model as B4-7T0 (and, by extension, the Possum County characters like Wally Wolf and Penny Possum), as these old bots have a bit of a tendency to develop independent personalities and act well outside of their initial programming. He's clearly been modified over the years, outfitted with an armored skull mask and some additional infrared illuminators and targeting rangefinder, and while I haven't drawn his body yet despite it being a couple years since I drew this portrait, it will be far more heavily armored than his OEM counterparts and probably feature some added onboard weapons.
Being a robot would definitely have its advantages--not getting tired, not needing sleep, not needing food, being able to repair or upgrade or modify your body with relative ease, not being distracted by having weird fetishes and their associated biological urges, increased strength, concealed onboard weaponry, being able to change your voice, the list goes on... I might miss pizza if I were a robot, but I wouldn't miss paying for food in general OR having to use the bathroom once I've processed the nutritional value from it.
