What if there's an alternate universe where Mickey and Donald are in a gay relationship while Minnie and Daisy are in a lesbian relationship? It'd certainly be interesting, but it's not canon anyway. 😅 -- Mickey takes cues from his first ever made cartoon: Plane Crazy. He is a veteran pilot in need of support after the war, since he hasn't seen Minnie in a long time.
Donald has his attire themed around the forgotten cartoon, Quack Pack. (I actually liked it as a kid so don't judge me) He serves as Mickey's support partner and is extremely chill... most of the time.
Minnie's design is a somewhat drastic one.. since she now has full-grown hair and has cut ties with Mickey after he didn't come back from the war yet. So she seeks out another partner to help cope with her anxiety issues.
Daisy is more-or-less a tomboy athlete, think of Lola Bunny from the movie Space Jam. Even if she's training for the big leagues, she prefers being in a relationship with another woman. And who better than Minnie herself?
