Chapter 7.
While Periwinkle was the temple, Poppy as well as Violette and Mistletoe were following the footprints of the culprit that leads to the place, a hideout where the culprits who stole the chocolates and sweets from the small house are. Upon arriving at the place they saw an old yet seemingly abandoned house located in a field, there is smoke coming from the chimney and building was dilapidated and is going to fall apart someday. The windows aren’t broken, but there were cracked marks on each perspective window and the roof was weak. Poppy, Violette and Mistletoe walked up to the house and examined it, “It seems the culprit is residing here.” Said Poppy “Something tells me there is something odd about it.”, “Do think it is wise to go there?” asked Violette, “You know it is totally stupid to go to that building like that.” Said Mistletoe “What if there are gangsters coming to ambush us and tie us all up with ropes around our bodies, arms and ankles?”, “Guess we’ll find out, Mistletoe.” Said Poppy “Trust me, it’s not gonna be easy here.”, “Hell or highwater.” Said Mistletoe “This is probably a house of gangster jackasses.”, “Yeah, what about it?” said Poppy “Like I said before, we’ll find out when we enter.”, “But what if…?” asked Violette, “Calm yourself.” Said Poppy “We got this.”, then Poppy knocked on the door, then the door opened, revealing the person who opened it was Viktor Busekphaliccio, the human man in his 20s whom Periwinkle saw two nights ago. Poppy, Violette and Mistletoe gasped in shock when they saw him, they never seen a human being like Viktor before, and they said “What the hell?!” followed by “Are you kidding us?! A human man?!”. Viktor chuckled sarcastically with a nasty smirk on his face, “Why hello there, snot-nosed rabbit teenagers.” Said Viktor “I might’ve known you three would show up like this.”, “So it was you all along, you butt-jackamule.” Said Violette “I might’ve known there is a human responsible for this! Our little brother Periwinkle is right all along, not to mention he saw you two nights ago, and it is possible that those incidents after the theft were your doing too, right?”, “Tell me everything.” Said Viktor after Poppy and the others got inside the house “That way, I’ll make an explanation.”, then Poppy, Violette and Mistletoe told Viktor everything of what did happened as a result of the thievery. Not only the incident between Poppy and Violette and Pimpernelle, but also Poppy picking a fight with Emile, as well as Pimpernelle’s blind hatred towards Periwinkle and his family, and Poppy’s foul mood against Periwinkle and their family, the incident between Pimpernelle and both Poppy and Violette, and of course Poppy furiously severing ties with Periwinkle and Bramble. Viktor smiled and explain, “I’m deeply sorry I caused all of this.” Chuckled Viktor “But I am what I am, and the reason why my thievery caused all of this is because of a plot the Foxhell orchestrated, they orchestrated the thievery and those series of incidents you’ve experienced. Not to mention they are connected to other things happening in this town, the series of people across downtown Blueberry Hill acting recently outrageous and seemingly vulgar, not to mention foul and bad-tempered too. There were restless movements, fits of frustration and violence, becoming bedridden, arguing with each other, abusing younger people or elderly, lack of sleep, mental breakdowns, uncaring manners and other vulgar acts. Nobody knows why they were acting like this, but all of us the Foxhell do.”, “The Foxhell?” said Poppy “Don’t tell me that organization who slithers in the dark are responsible for this?”, “Yeah, they are a very pagan and nasty syndicate who use blood and essence for their black magic as well as using dangerous technology amplified with unholy magic.” Said Mistletoe “They are damn insane jackasses who want to conquer and enslave in a gruesome and demonic manner. They even intend to use Elixemgulat for their greedy and notorious desires just like that.”, “Correct, the Foxhell are responsible for all of this, the thievery of the chocolates, the incident two of you had against Pimpernelle and one of Poppy’s schoolmates, Pimpernelle lashing out her anger and blind towards your family, Poppy’s destructive and nasty temper towards your family, people across Downtown Blueberry Hill having foul and outrageous behaviour, not to mention problems within Poppy and Pimpernelle.” Said Viktor “All of this is to not only collect negative energy, but also lifeforce as well as throwing your home as well as this planet into chaos, not to mention we’ve even orchestrated a violent zombie outbreak across the select places, Czech, New Zealand, Pakistan, Greece and Peru, as well as two echidna colonies, two bear colonies and of course 13 rabbit colonies, and it would include yours in the country you’re currently living in, Canada. Our grandmaster Thalez Del Moriartagoz wanted to make sure those people was consumed by not only fluids amplified by Bleece, the Burning Liquid Expanding Cell Explosion, but also other fluids, and use it to drive the people across the countries of Czech, New Zealand, Pakistan, Greece and Peru insane along with the extraterrestrial beast colonies including the rabbit colonies and your hometown Blueberry Hill. We even injected the fluids in the chocolates we stole from not only you, but also 4 other families, we even deceived them into getting into harsh mishaps, as well as driving one of the family members into a violent wreck, and we even injected this one those perspective individuals, not any of you from The Bellflower Family, since you children of Bramble and Isabella are demi-gods, yet have hearts devoid of evil, but 4 of you aren’t devoid of darkness as well as your hearts, but your brother Periwinkle and his heart are devoid of darkness just like how both him and his heart are devoid of evil. We would’ve affected the adults of your family, but we don’t intend to for a reason, and that reason is because your father Bramble is connected to his late wife by both heart and spirit. And Zinnia, she isn’t mostly a concern, but we took advantage of her temper and fits of anger towards you Poppy and especially when we took advantage of both you, your temper and your stubbornness, not to mention deceiving you and Violette into wrongfully accusing Pimpernelle, as well as your bad blood towards Emile. We did that advantage to gain more negative energy from you, your paternal aunt, your father, your siblings Violette, Mistletoe and Dandelion, the girl Pimpernelle and her father, not to mention those who are all gullible idiots. However, despite our success, a spy who happens to be a teenage boy named Chad Thompson had found evidence and attempted to stop us, but he went into hiding when we discovered his deception and his attempt to double-cross us out of righteous manner of deception. But still, even if he got the evidence, it’ll be over for Blueberry Hill sooner of later this month.”, “So you’ve deceived all of us, not only Poppy, but also everyone in our family, Pimpernelle and her parents, as well as the people of Blueberry Hill.” Said Violette, “Yet Periwinkle did saw some sense, but he will find out sooner today.” Said Viktor “He’s at the temple, and it won’t be long before he and his old man Bramble discover what happened.”, “You’re treacherous and deceitful, you made idiots out of all of us.” Said Mistletoe “You’ve not only stole the chocolates, but distributed them with your chemicals to drive the people of Blueberry Hill’s Downtown Area nuts, you even tricked Poppy and Violette into wrongfully accusing Pimpernelle for the theft you’ve made, you’ve deceived Pimpernelle into getting herself wrongfully accused for a theft and for seeing Poppy and Emile picking a fight out of anger and hatred which is enough to cause her to swear all of us off, as well blindly swearing Periwinkle off, you even deceived Poppy into lashing out his anger on Periwinkle and our Dad, you even made a fool out of Aunt Zinnia, as well as making a brainless idiot out of our old man.”, “Yes and no.” said Viktor “About the part of making your father an idiot of himself, it isn’t just the case, in truth I also took advantage of his huge insecurities and his bad memories of what happened to him as a child when he lost his parents and the majority of his siblings, I even made him reluctant to accept something, something that happens to be repeating history all over again in an extreme and humorous manner we made. And by humorous manner, it is also an act for our comedic amusement and hell-raising entertainment.”, “It’s not funny, Viktor, you crazed asshole.” Said Poppy “It is never going to be funny, because you created hell, bad luck, treachery and chaos here since yesterday. You’ve used Pimpernelle and her family, you’ve used us as well as our father and paternal aunt except for Periwinkle, and you’ve used everyone in Blueberry Hill! You made a fool out of our family, Pimpernelle’s family and everyone for the last time, you hear me?!”, “Sad but true.” Said Viktor sarcastically “And to set the record straight, I’m the clever one and you’re the fools.”, “You’re very mean and worse of all pure evil!” said Violette “Do you have any idea what you have done?!”, “I know that.” Said Viktor “But I don’t care.”, “You bastard!” snapped Mistletoe “I swear I’m gonna kill you for this, ya hear me?!”, “I wouldn’t do that if I were you boy.” Said Viktor “I have allies hiding somewhere in this building, if you dare try to harm me to do something lethal, you’re gonna die.”, “Dammit, fine.” Said Mistletoe “I’ll leave ya be for now.”, “I hope you’re happy with yourself, Viktor.” Said Poppy “Mark my words, I’ll tell my father and everyone the truth, and there’s not even a thing you could do to stop us.”, “They won’t believe you or your siblings, and if I were you, I would avoid Hydra’s attempts to abduct you if you three spill the beans about what I’ve done and of course Foxhell’s plans.” Said Viktor “This is a final warning.”, “We’ll see.” Said Poppy. But before Poppy, Violette and Mistletoe could leave, they were stopped by gunpoint by Emile, he was extremely angry. Viktor then began to saw everything and smiled with interest and curiosity. “I know I managed to follow you, Poppy, you stupid geek boy.” Said Emile “I have a score to settle with you, and I will have it.”, “Emile, what are you…?” said Poppy, “Do you know why I’m here?” said Emile “I’ve followed you and I’m planning getting revenge against you for the humiliation you’ve gave me. Exposing me as a cheater during the bicycle race at a neighboring settlement, getting me into a predicament when you’ve started a mud riot when a infant white rabbit with red eyes came to our town for a reason, beating me in a race car tournament at last, as well as beating me in the petal festival potato sack race, and of course other incidents, including accusing me for theft without proof and picking a fight with me, and of course calling me both an idiot and a complete asshole. And yet you’re right about one thing, I’m utterly jealous of you and I never liked you in my life.”, “Then why are you jealous of Poppy?” asked Violette “And why you’ve never liked him?”, “To tell you the truth, I utterly hated your brother Poppy from the very moment I’ve laid eyes on him.” Said Emile “Everything he does and every word he says always pisses me off. Just like how I utterly hated Periwinkle from the moment I laid eyes on him, every word he says as well as everything he does always pisses me off in disgust. I am jealous of and fed up with Periwinkle and Poppy as well, in the case of Poppy, he had good grades in his school, he is considered a know-it-all and he studies well more than me. And in the case of Periwinkle, he is a preaching brat who has proper faith in religion and had been helpful towards others, but I keep failing every time to be helpful as well as trying to understand religion. I’ve spent a long time trying to have a proper good life like Periwinkle as well as trying to get a good grade even more. I tried getting good grades, but I get mostly Fs and Ds, and I rarely get Cs and Bs, and yet I had gotten an A on my work twice, but the series of screwed up grades ruined my life and I would not let some stupid series of failures get the better of me, nor would I let boys like Poppy or Periwinkle weaken my reputation even further.”, “Emile I…” said Poppy, “I know what you’re going to apologize to me for the incident yesterday, well I’m not gonna accept it, and it’s not because of you Poppy being a thorn to my side, but also because of your family including Periwinkle giving me too much hell and issues.” Said Emile “I vowed that I’ll get what I’ve deserved, and would not let some jackass geek like you, Poppy Bellflower, get me screwed too much, and I would not let a stupid bad-luck-oriented family like the Bellflower Family, giving me too much hell and humiliating me too much. I never liked you Poppy and I’m gonna kill you for everything!”, “Emile, you don’t have to do this! This is murder!” said Violette “If you kill Poppy, you’ll be in trouble with everyone!”, “Kill Poppy.” Said Mistletoe “And I swear I’ll kill you for this, ya hear?”, “Shut up.” Said Emile “I have a score to settle and that’s that.”, “I would’ve apologize to you for what happened yesterday as well as what happened in the past.” Said Poppy “But I fear that you won’t easily accept it, but now I know, you’re being too unforgiving, too vicious and too stupid.”, “Shut up and go to hell, bub!” snapped Emile, he tried to shoot at Poppy, but Poppy pounced on him and picked a fight with him when Emile attempted to murder Poppy out of revenge for everything. “Poppy! Stop that!” said Violette “You’ll get yourself or both you and Emile killed! Stop it please!”, “Bro!” said Mistletoe “Cut it out, will ya?! You don’t have to do this!”, then both Poppy and Emile got out of house when trying to kill each other, then they kept on beating each other up as well as attempting to murder each other. Poppy held Emile’s hand holding the gun away from him, but Emile kept fired it about 4 times, and the gunshot echoed throughout the area including Blueberry Hill, and both Poppy and Emile continued to pick a fight with each other, Emile even kicked Poppy in the crotch, while Poppy kicked Emile in the stomach. Violette and Mistletoe saw the catfight, and so does Viktor, “Oh, those two will knock themselves to bits.” Said Viktor “And I have a feeling one of them is going to have a temporary death.”.
Meanwhile, upon heading back to their home, Periwinkle and Bramble heard gunshots echoing about 4 times, Periwinkle looked at the sight where the gunshots are coming from and could see trouble, “Something isn’t right.” Said Periwinkle “I have strange feeling those gunshots mean there’s a violent catfight between males.”, “I see.” Said Bramble “But I doubt this is our concern.”, “And yet it is my concern.” Said Periwinkle “I have a bad feeling someone I know is going to kill someone.”, “Never mind.” Said Bramble “We better head back, but still I’m worried about Poppy and the others, I hope they…”, then Bramble realized something, “Tell me…” said Bramble “Did say someone I know is going to kill someone? And did you say you’ve saw footprints in front of the house where the small house is?”, “Yeah.” Said Periwinkle, “We better check the footprints first.” Said Bramble “Then we’ll follow them and see where it leads, that way our suspicions are confirmed.”, “OK.” Said Periwinkle “We will, Daddy.”. Then Bramble checked the footprints, then he and Periwinkle followed them, and that led to the spot where the culprit is, before they get there, Violette and Mistletoe showed up looking frantic and worried. “Dad!” yelled Mistletoe, “Daddy!” yelled Violette, “We’ve got trouble!” yelled Violette and Mistletoe “Poppy and Emile are picking a fight with each other again, and what’s worse, they are trying to murder each other!”, “What?” said Periwinkle “Tell us what happened.”, “It happened after we’ve followed footprints next to the small house where the big divine white rabbit should place the chocolates in, when we followed the footprints, it led to a seemingly abandoned house.”, “Go on.” Said Periwinkle and Bramble, then Violette and Mistletoe explained everything, including Viktor Busekphaliccio, his actions of what led to the series of inconveniences yesterday, as well as Emile trying to get revenge against Poppy, and of course Poppy picking a fight with Emile and attempting to kill him in order to protect his own life. “What?!” said Bramble “That’s ridiculous!”, “But it’s true, Daddy.” Said Violette “Emile is planning on killing Poppy in revenge for everything including what happened yesterday.”, “And we did saw a human man named Viktor Busekphaliccio.” Said Mistletoe “And he and that clandestine crime syndicate, Foxhell, set the whole thing up!”, “If what you said is true, Violette and Mistletoe.” Said Periwinkle “Then that means he set the whole thing up, including Dandelion’s beliefs that he is curse with a series of bad luck upon seeing a divine white rabbit as well as Pimpernelle’s hatred to my family. But do you have proof?”, “I have proof.” Said Violette “Both of us do, we had a recording our conversation with Viktor and what Emile said to Poppy.”, “Here listen the recording of this.” Said Mistletoe as he and Violette showed a recording of the conversation from a holo-camera. Upon hearing and seeing everything, Bramble and Periwinkle gasped, “Then tell me, where is that man?” asked Bramble “I would like to give him a good talking to.”, “We’ll show you.” Said Violette “Yet he’ll soon take his leave.”, “C’mon.” said Mistletoe “We’ll show you to him.”. Then Periwinkle and Bramble followed Violette and Mistletoe to the place.
As the group got there, they saw Viktor heading to a limousine, then Bramble and Periwinkle ran up to him. Before they get close, gunshots were fired in front of them by Foxhell gangsters. “Viktor Busekphaliccio, I presume?” said Bramble, “Yup, that’s me.” Said Viktor “In the flesh, sorry I can’t stop, I’m taking my leave.”, “Tell me one thing.” Said Bramble “You’re responsible for the theft and everything that happened yesterday, are you? The incident between two of my children and two youths, Poppy and Emile picking a fight with each other, Pimpernelle and her family breaking ties with my family except Periwinkle, Poppy’s anger issues towards Periwinkle, Zinnia, Dandelion and me, as well as the behavior of the people in Downtown Blueberry Hill. Well?”, “Of course.” Said Viktor “What if I tell you I did according to the grandmaster’s plan, Thalez Del Moriartagoz, the grandmaster of the Foxhell Syndicate. Until we meet again, and that goes to you, Periwinkle Bellflower.”, then Viktor got inside the limousine and it set off into the forest. “Now we know, the Foxhell is behind all of this.” Said Periwinkle “And now we know, it was Viktor all along.”, “What about Poppy and Emile?” asked Bramble, “We better follow their tracks.” Said Violette “Something tells me that they’re gonna die.”, “We better stop them quickly.” Said Mistletoe “If we don’t one or both of them are gonna be killed.”, “C’mon.” said Bramble “Let’s follow them quickly.”, little did they know that one of the boys will die in the incident.
Poppy kept on fighting Emile, he kept on fighting him in an attempt to protect himself, but it was risky. As they boys kept fighting each other, they were heading to a cliff. As they kept fighting with each other, they stopped in front of the cliff, and they were about to throw one of them in the ground, when they heard Bramble and the others shouting at them to stop, both Poppy and Emile heard each other and stopped for 5 seconds, then they kept on fighting. Emile attempted to make a last ditch effort to kill Poppy, but Poppy held the gun with his hand and tried to use it to kill Emile in self-defence. “This burden is ever mine to bear the most.” Said Poppy “I never wanted this to come between us like that, Emile. I know you hated me, I have no choice but to do something I never want to do. I’m sorry for everything, but this is goodbye.”, then he grabbed the gun and fatally injured Emile by shooting him in the lower part of his heart. “Poppy…” sneered Emile weakily “You were always such an idiot…!”, then he collapsed into the ground dead. Periwinkle, Violette, Mistletoe and Bramble stopped in front of Poppy just in time, then much to their horror, they saw Emile’s dead body, then Emile’s parents Paxton and Julia, as well as Austin, Pimpernelle, her father Papilio, Gunther, Agathe, and of course a lot of police officers both male and female. Austin as well as Pimpernelle were informed by Periwinkle of what happened, and they had to check on what happened with Papilio as well as Gunther and Agathe accompanying them. Papilio even informed the police as well as Paxton and Julia on what happened, and they quickly rushed to the scene. When everyone got to the spot, they were shocked, disgusted and outraged. Bramble looked at his son and asked him why would he do that, Poppy explained his reasons. After explaining his reasons, Bramble grew furious with Poppy, Poppy saw the angry looks on his father and said to him “What’s with that look?” asked Poppy angrily “You think there’s a better option?! I have to make a decision quickly! I never wanted Emile’s hatred to get the better of him, but I had no choice due to his grudge towards me and Periwinkle, and of course the fact that he went insane! I chose to kill him for all of this! That’s what I did, and despite me being guilt-ridden and shameful that I had to do this, I had no regrets, I put him out of his misery and that’s that! Even though I fell sorry him, some part of me felt he got what he deserved for being a thorn to my side.”, “Poppy, what did is murderous, insane, stubborn and worse of all… Stupid.” Said Periwinkle “You’ve broken the hearts of Emile’s parents and what’s worse, you horrified Pimpernelle and our siblings on your decision when you put Emile out of his misery as the coward and idiot you are, just look at the parents as well as the faces of both Pimpernelle and Papilio.”, “What?!” said Poppy “Did I!”, “You wretched murderous juvenile delinquent!” snapped Papilio “I always knew you’re trouble, and you’ve ended that boy’s life as the coward and idiot you are! You’ve brought an extremely bad omen to our town and what’s worse, you’ve disgust me in public! I swear I’ll kill you for this, you delinquent!!”, before Papilio could murder Poppy for killing Emile, Bramble stopped him, “Enough, Papilio!” snapped Bramble “Murdering someone who murdered a person out of fury and mercy combined won’t ever solve everything. You’ll go to jail for this! Can’t you see we’ve got enough problems already!?!”, “Yeah, what about it?!!” snapped Papilio “Poppy murdered someone who’s same age as him in a presence of civilians and police officers. Somebody has to arrest him for this!”, “He’s only 14 years old.” Said Bramble, “Yes, I know.” Said Papilio “But we all saw what he did here to Emile! If your son committed murder, it’s the town’s responsibility to see that he’s punished accordingly for a crime he never wanted to do, yet he did do it by alleged force! It would be a disgrace if his acts aren’t punished!”, “Are you serious?!” said Bramble, “My father is.” Snapped Pimpernelle “We knew Poppy had been a problem since yesterday, but I never thought he would kill Emile just like that! Both you and your son Periwinkle could’ve prevented it! Both of you could’ve!”, “My daughter is right, Bramble.” Said Papilio angrily “You’ve could have prevented it! You’ve got Emile’s life ended in a screwed up manner, you could’ve prevented it, you idiot!”, then Paxton furiously spoke to Bramble for what happened, “Emile’s death could’ve been prevented if you had prevented his death as well as raising your son Poppy properly, and yet you’ve failed him and failed to stop this death!” said Paxton “You screwed everything! Your family not only brought a bad omen, but also a nasty tragedy to our family, and now thanks to your failures as well as your son Poppy’s decision, we’ve lost a child!”, “And everyone is right about you!” said Julia “You ruined our lives and screwed up your son because of your failures! You screwed up everything for the last time!”, “That is enough.” Said Austin “For now, let’s organize Emile’s funeral, also, someone should give an explanation of what has happened that led to today’s bloody incident to public.”, “And includes the human man, Viktor, the one that stole the chocolates and sweets, which led to Emile’s provoked state yesterday, and of course, the incident that took his life.” Said Periwinkle “I know it is difficult to believe, but it is true, and we have evidence.”, “Fine.” Said the Police Chief “But we are arresting Poppy for this act.”, then the police officers looked at Poppy with both a frustrated, shocked and seemingly confused look on his face, “Poppy Bellflower.” Said the police chief “You’re under arrest for murder, assault and being both a public nuisance and threat. You’ll be getting a fair trial as well for those acts.”, “What?!” snapped Poppy, “I’m sorry, son.” Said Bramble “But this is for your own good, and I hope you’ll understand.”, then the police officer restrained Poppy, they tied his arms behind his back with a chain and used a lock to tie the chains together, then they tied another chain around his body and used another lock to tie the chains together. Before the police could haul Poppy away, Periwinkle spoke sternly to his brother, “You’re stupid and extremely stubborn indeed.” Said Periwinkle as he spoke sternly and angrily to Poppy “I’ve warned you several times not to screw and endanger everyone and everything, and what do we get, hell itself. It isn’t fine with me to have someone in my family to kill someone that doesn’t have a proper good cause, but your attempts to end this conflict with Emile resulted in a disaster, and what’s worse, people will scold and criticize you for your actions and your decisions, just like how they criticized you for rigging up Aunt Zinnia’s bike for speed when you’ve feared she is going to lose to Emile and Julia. You even endangered our family’s reputation when you tried to take credit from Corey for everything, being disrespectful, hateful and jealous towards Norbert, injuring a man during the dinosaur excavation site, as well as a few other acts, but this incident is much worse and our family’s reputation will be in a wreck because of you. You may be my brother, but you’ve disgraced my family as well as the people of Blueberry Hill, and people in the rabbit colonies are going to take emergency extreme measures on public and safety on both younglings and teenagers, people from the ages 4 to 20 that is.”, “I did what I have to do, Periwinkle, and do you think I’m an idiot?! I doubt that!” said Poppy “I only did what I felt and assume that is right, but I did that for everyone’s good, Emile’s own good, and my family’s own good! I wanted to be friends with Emile, but neither him nor me liked each other because of the bad blood we had! And yet the burden he had grew worse because of Viktor and of course your failures to prevent the incident yesterday or the theft two nights ago, and what do I get, being sent to juvenile hall for this! Also our father’s failures are the reason why the incidents I had with Emile both today and yesterday happened! And guess what? That’s the last thing I’m saying such things to you, because I’m ultimately never speaking to you again!! Never did you hear me?! And I’m furiously breaking ties with my family as well!”, “You should careful, Poppy.” Said Periwinkle “Those words are likely going to be the last you’ll say to me if something tragic happens to you, and I hope you’ll understand.”, “Shut the hell up, brat!” snapped Poppy, upon hearing this Violette walked to Poppy and slapped him in the face, “You’re an idiot, Poppy!” said Violette “You shouldn’t say such things to Periwinkle as well as doing murderous and violent acts! And if you’re severing ties with us, then we’ll never speak to you again!”, “Yeah, that’s right, bro!” snapped Mistletoe as he kicked Poppy in the crotch “We’re never speaking to you again, you hear?!
