Today is something a little bit different.
I just thought id make a little bit of a psa in regards to the private msgs i have been receiving from some very troubled individuals who think it is appropriate to all caps scream at me (and im sure other AI content creators) for not being a "real artist." For the record i have never said i am an artist, and in fact said before that i have no skill in drawing regardless of the medium. I use ai to create things that i never would have been able to, and it is enjoyable. That is not to say that doing so does not require hours of testing, research, practise and patience, much like any other hobby.

Regardless, such behavior is not acceptable. I have no desire to out the people that have done so as doing so is below me. They know who they are.

In a completely unrelated topic, here are some of my old models that i didnt us AI to paint. I used to post on FA but ended up stopping as life typically got in the way. I do commissions here and there so if you feel like paying a ridiculous price for postage (another reason why i stopped posting) feel free to PM me.

YOU ARE NOT A REAL ARTIST BECAUSE YOU DON'T PUT ANY WORK INTO YOUR ARTWORK AND YOU PULL THEM OUT OF YOUR ASS ON CALL IN 5 SECONDS! YOU DON'T SPEND TIME AT ALL TO LEARN A VERY SIMPLE TOOL WHICH IS A GRAPHICS GENERATOR.

AND I KNOW BEST AND I'M SCREAMING THE LOUDEST BECAUSE MY KEYBOARD IS LOCKED WITH CAPS-LOCK. AND REMEMBER, I HATE YOU FOR WHO YOU ARE!!!

And to those who really write such comments, I recommend this product for their ailments.

pretty much. i just find it hilarious that im getting this hate, when i not claiming to be an artist by making it, trying to make money from it, or actively trying to take away attention from others by posting. its just a way to tell a story and to share my characters

Recently on the Discord server "furry diffusion" there was a lot of talk about someone stealing art uploads and then putting them behind a paywall.

I entirely agree with you.

Many artists fear of AI art, because they think it will hamper their business. Unfortunately they are right to some extant, can't deny some reality. But you are right, this does notexcuse such attitude. At all.

There was a time when I was also against AI art, because it was obvious rip-off and mixes of known pictures and artists. But AI technology evolved so rapidly that this is absolutely not true anymore (apart if you WANT AI to do that of course) and it didn't take long before I began to really appreciate its results.

AI art is there, you can't do as if it wasn't, like all new technologies you have to do WITH it instead of against or you will be left aside. I remember a time when artists were called names for using Photoshop. Who even THINK that nowadays???!!!!!!

BTW, if I wasn't myself an artist already, I would've waited impatiently and rushed on AI art to express all the ideas I had in mind. I enjoy what you and many other artists have produced so far and will absolutely continue to support you.

Thanks, i appreciate it.

You are spot on, even i frown upon ai for what is doing to other industries, but its a tool that needs to be used like any tool in a tool box and viewed as such.
