Ooh, awesome! Daedream is one of the cooler designs from that game imo

Depressing to see you support Ai

Well, I do not. This wasn't tagged AI when I commented and I missed the description. I have AI tags blocked, so I wouldn't have seen it in my submissions menu if it was properly tagged on upload. I had to bypass my tag block to even reply to you here.

Fair enough. My apologies.

You should also consider not being a dickhead to people. It's fine to have grievances with AI generative stuff, but lashing out on people for using it is cringe. Just block the tag, and move on with your life.

When people are losing their jobs to it & deepfake Ai smutt resulting in suicides... I have had enough of Ai stans

It's not AI, this person is just being a dick. I was AI training because there were no Daedream loras and I like to generate, I just usually don't post them. This is my art from start to finish, it was like a warm-up in Krita while I was on the laptop then I ended up spending a lot of time to like blend and shade to finish it up.

You're a good artist... why are you using Ai?

Because I want to? I signed up for NovelAI when it first was doing cool text generation just making my own stories and stuff. I've been doing AI as far back as when Artbreeder came out and the tech is only going to improve. I'm having fun, shouldn't that be all that matters?

Disgusting and lazy. Supporting art theft and suppression of artists.
What a fall from grace, I've been following your works since I discovered you ~2010 with your tribbing game.

... don't like, don't follow. BCS is happy, which is what matters.

Honestly, it's ok if you use an ai art generator.  You're using it as the tool it's meant to be, and that's more than ok.

It's been forever since I've seen you last, and I'm glad you've found a way to get that creative spark  back with an ai art generator.

that ain't creativity, it is hollow and the complete opposite.

I actually didn't use an AI generator for this, I used my own screencap for reference. The AI generations failed to get the body and hair right which is why I manually sketched and painted it. I figured that would be obvious from the picture, but it turns out the so-called detectives can't even tell what is made with AI and what isn't. SMH.

If you enlarge you, you can see the brush marks and shading are manually done and truth be told, a little sloppy in places.

Funny, It's like drafting has gone digital...Oh wait! It has! I'm a drafting and conceptual artist myself and I worked with words people gave me to create visuals that others used as reference to create their art, so why not in fact do the same with AI, am I right? Screw trolls and thinkers like that. Art is art and I live by Salvador Dali's quote "Those who don't want to imitate anything, produce nothing." -Salvador Dalí

I guess since I have never made art of my own and simply drew for others and used "references" from others to make what I have, that makes me an art thief lol

Back in my day it was called art referencing...I guess now days it's called "AI-Generation" Frankly, I see no shame in it, otherwise the folks of today should be paying every corporation who owns trademarked things loyalties for profiting off of their "fan based creations" right? [Disney. Warner Brothers. Marvel. DC. Hasbro. Nintendo.  etc]

I don't always use references but it depends on what I'm drawing and if it's an original something I'm designing.

You've never drawn for yourself?

I've drawn plenty for myself and I still do but it's never public and sometimes it never gets finished or archived until I figure out what else to do with my creations, I'm just lacking on the perspective of appealing to myself. I mostly do doodles every now and then to keep myself from getting rusty on both traditional and occasionally digital media. If only people could see the paintings I make. I do not get what people see in them, but if they call it art...well so be it. My family has quite the archives of art from my brother and me collecting dust in the attics and garages when I'm not giving them away because it takes up too much space.

Does using random word generators count as drawing for myself? I lack ideas but i can easily be motivated from random words to create something from it :T

People tend to have more ideas than I do most of the time. The things I do for myself are just randomly drawn things that I just make off the top of my head, but nothing of characters. More so scenic art, probably does not count as drawing for myself though since I'm still drawing what I see rather than what I envision.

Things that are not art related for myself that I tend to do is simply just another form of art I tend to keep to myself. I'm more of a sculptor and builder. I tend to require a studio for what I do...least until I figure out a way to digitally sculpt what I do. Easier said than done, I've been trying to years and I still am when I can [kind of like 3ds max]
