Before you draw toon you need to understand how to draw realistic... Not draw well just how to draw it.
One artist told me they would take a sketchbook to a busy place and just start sketching people. You need to put life to paper and do it nearly everyday. Most experienced furry artists draw a lot of art that they never post.
