Nuru followed her father close behind as they trekked through the jungle. Soon, her father stopped and sat down, signaling her to wonder what he was doing.

"Daddy, what are you doing?'

Nuru asked, looking up at her father. He smiled and began his one of many long lectures.

"You see, Nuru. One day my time will come that I will no longer run the Clan. That's when you come in to take my place. You will grow up and lead the clan with an iron paw like I do."

Nuru looked at him confused, but continued listening.

"Your brother made a crucial mistake when it comes to being leader, never let any of your members get injured. He nearly got you killed back there, which scrutinized his place as future leader."

Nuru understood Zayn put her in danger, be he saved her.

"You will become my new heir to the Leadership throne. Once your older, you will go on your first hunt and then train hard to become a leader I know you can become."

Nuru became excited about her first hunt. Seeing her parents hunt always had her excited to get out there and make her father proud.
