"In addition to frequent downtime, FurAffinity also heavily restricts free speech, and frequently allows rules to be bent by popular artists, but not by lesser-known artists and regular members."
~Fek

There is no easy way to say this, so here it goes.

Furaffinity is the worst art site on the internet. In the years I have been on it, I have slowly watched it go from a website of flourishing expression to a digital version of the USSR. The owner has made so many controversial revisions to the community guidelines, each one putting more and more dampers on free speech and freedom of expression. I myself have been a victim of these "rules" behind the artistic iron curtain. You cannot express your opinion about ANYONE on it's website, or else the secret police will penalize you for violating the infamous Rule 2.3, "Do not stalk, harass or threaten anyone on the platform."

Since when has it been a crime to state your honest opinion about someone? It is according to The Glorious Leader of the Artistic Motherland. Hell, I have even been served an immediate level 4 offense (final warning) for commenting a bunch of opinions over time. The bastards wadded them all at one time and penalized me for it. And I've had rules added on me because I had found loopholes in them, such as the "Art with no artistic merit" rule.

Another thing, their premium service, FA+, mirrors that of a mafia-style protection service. Dragoneer can't guarantee your protection unless you have this.

"You hand over everything you got or else accidents start happening. Big, bloody accidents."
~Finn (Goodneighbor), Fallout 4

In addition to this, Furaffinity is one of the sites that will not give AI art a single chance, which is why I am predicting that Inkbunny, a site that does allow AI art, will in time overtake Furaffinity as the #1 furry art site. Furaffinity has been crumbling for years anyway. And novel concepts like AI will in time be accepted, just as Autotune, violent video games, mp3s, VHS tapes, records, etc were accepted years before. Progress can never be stopped.

The other part of this is the moral aspect. Objectors refuse to listen to reason that there are many out there that are way less fortunate than they are. Some people cannot draw, some don't have the time or capacity to learn and some have disabilities that prevent them from drawing. AI provides a window of opportunity for them to fulfill their years-long wishes of wanting to making art, high-quality art even. But those opposed to AI will not give it a chance and would not hesitate to throw it under the bus. They throw reason out the window and with rancor for those that advocate it declare "You either suck it up and learn to draw the old-fashioned way or ^^^^ off. Cause if you so much as think about using that effortless computer-generated shit, we'll throw you to the curb and stomp your ^^^^^^^ brains out. Society has no place for s^^^-shoveling AI-^^rds like you." They appear to care only for their own well-being and not the well-being of others. This reminds me of a verse from the good book:

Matthew 24:9
"“Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me."

I've always seemed to be hated because I think about others, not myself.

The only reason I have not left Furaffinity is because I still have fans there. Had it not been for them I'd've deleted my account.

All in all, my prediction that if Furaffinity does not change it's ways and start becoming more lenient on the Constitutional Rights of Americans, the very foundation upon which it built itself upon will give way and it'll fall back into the dusty earth from where it started.

I remember when the people running Furaffinity got caught covering up criminal behavior, including animal abuse, and grape.  They promised they would be more aboveboard, and transparent.  Less than three days later, it was discovered they were using software to track where someone went online before, and after looking at their site.  It was a crime in the US to use this software without disclosing it.  The company that provided the software also told them that.  They never announced to the users they were using the software.  They got exposed after someone noticed something odd in the login page's code.

Yeah, I stopped using that site a long time ago.

FA is entirely deserving for the myriad of criticism it receives, but comparing a policy against AI generated imagery to a oppressive, decades-long regime that was responsible for mass genocide is not only illogical, but synonymous with the reasoning of a toddler throwing a temper tantrum because his mother won’t buy him a toy. It seems a more productive use of your time other than writing ill-conceived lamentations over being stopped from using a technology that you barely use to begin with may be wise. Perhaps you should consider spending said time actually creating with it instead? Additionally, I do believe you are mistaken in your assertion of anthropomorphic pornography as a constitutional right to citizens of the United States.

Saying AI should stay banned because some artists disagree with it is akin to a spoiled brat who's hardly ever experienced discipline in their life, making everyone do things their way or no way at all. The only thing I hear out of that comment you just made is greed. You would be so stuck in your ways and afraid of AI that you would deny people who can't draw an opportunity to weave wonders. Seems you're no different than the thousands of corporate entities that care nothing for the fans and take ever opportunity to gouge their wallets, for that's all they ever care about, which makes you similar to EA in many w-- *cough* Ugh, mercy. Also, how can people possibly make artistic creations if they're too sick or too depressed to draw? There ARE people who have ailments that make them physically incapable of using drawing tools. But no, you never even bothered to take that into consideration, that there are people more unfortunate than you. You simply consider the old-fashioned ways the superior and only way to do things lest anyone be judged for their "heresy." You disgust me.

And another thing, I have viewed your profile here on IB. You info states and I quote, "A simple tailor, nothing more." Not only this, but you have made zero art posts, which says a million words about you. Just who do you think you are telling other people about creativity when you can't even pick up a pencil and draw something worthy of being on sites like this? You obviously have no talent and therefore certainly have no right to tell people that they should "spend time using their creativity."

Learn to draw first, then we'll talk.

Considering that it took action against me for criticizing the left wing, very much so.
